Adah had to admit to feeling a little surprised when she limped into the clinic today for her shift. She also have to admit to feeling a little disappointed that the report didn't offer anything that severe or interesting. Most of these symptoms were daily fashion in Africa.

She also also had to admit that she wasn't too sure about that dog being here. It didn't seem to be the most hygienic thing in the world. Then again, though, if she was making African comparisons, she might as well put a lab coat on him and make him one of the nurses, for all it was worth up against the sort of things that might be walking through those clinics.

Doogie was starting to think that this was going to be another slow morning. And then the nurses came in, and he suddenly found himself relieved of that concern.

Stark hadn't exactly been looking forward to coming into town when the island was overrun by big scary things. But he was supposed to be at the clinic on Sundays and so at the clinic he was. After arriving, he'd flailed more than a little bit at the number of people in the clinic. Flailing under control, he was now ready to deal with things. Hopefully.

[OCD coming up. Poke me if I get something wrong.]

The clinic's open early, a pot of coffee is brewing, and Janet's reviewing medical charts on anyone brought in last night.

OOC: Slowplay may have to happen; please mod the FH Nurse if I do not reply as quickly as you'd like. If you're a clinic patient, please post yourself into the appropriate exam room. And wait for the OCD. Ready to post.

Janet unlocked the clinic, set a pot of coffee brewing, and started studying while she waited for anyone who needed help to arrive.

FH Clinic, 2/13

Susan opened up the clinic late, with only one appointment set up. To make up for it, she re-organized the clinic charts. Mostly because she was bored.

The passage of air was LOUD today and Wilson moved very, very carefully in an attempt to keep the air as still as possible. He was late opening the Clinic not because he was late getting *to* the Clinic but because he was moving very slowly…in the hope of keeping the air really quiet.

Getting the doors open, he started a pot of coffee and sucked back the third 20oz bottle of water he’d been drinking since about oh…not too many hours ago. Putting a happy face on, he managed to do rounds without passing out, which was a blessing, checking in on Rory, Logan and Jack before crawling back up to the front desk.

Sitting down, very carefully –DAMN AIR WILL YOU SHUT UP!- Wilson leaned forward till he could cradle his head on his forearms. Seven…liquors….what the hell had he been thinking last night?

That it felt good to laugh a little and not hurt…andohGodI’mnottwentyanymore

Dragging his water bottle down into his lap to snuggle it close, Wilson reached for the half a piece of bagel he’d been trying to choke down for over an hour now. He was about half-way through it. By noon he might be finished with it.

If I live that long…Crowley is going to kill me.

Taking a slow breath, Wilson sat up and reached for a chart. He was being in his charting and really needed to catch up, if the little black squiggly lines would just stay still long enough for him to read them.

Doctor on Duty.

*DEATH strolls into the clinic with a pile of official looking papers in his hands. He seems to be working on something. Periodically you notice what looks like a Victoria's Secret catalog at which DEATH scratches his head. Or skull.

His rubber duck seems to be absent.*

((OOC: DEATH!mun is heading to bed. Feel free to bleed all over the floor, but keep in mind that it will be played out in the late morning tomorrow.))

Wilson and House had been up the whole night, between hourly checks on Rory, Marty and Logan they had -laughably- tried to relieve each other for a few hours of sleep but each had been too keyed up to take advantage and after the first try had given up.

The oncologist had quietly worked on paperwork in between rounds, while House had played with his gameboy. For the moment, neither had brought up the subject of what had just happened with the other, it was just all too confusing and in the end, not important to delivering medical attention. In some ways, it was better that they didn't have the details, that would just confuse the focus.

As morning dawned, Wilson had taken advantage of a quick break to grab a shower and clean the blood off his skin and out of his hair. He'd come back and tagged House out, firmly suggesting that the older doctor needed to put some intense heat therapy on that bad leg of his...and also demanding -in a loving manner- that House make coffee.

When House headed off towards the little apartment, Wilson began to run rounds once more.

[ooc: For the sake of my sanity, please put all 'Morning after' comments into this post. I'll have threads up for all the sickies as soon as LJ lets me. Thank you! :)]

Wilson moved quietly through the Clinic getting the waiting room set up for the day, starting a pot of coffee and opening the doors.

He had restocking to do and paperwork and... more paperwork and it would be nice if he could figure out his own mind somewhere in all that but honestly, he just didn't want to think about some things so...yeah.

Paper Work
Coffee
Restocking.

But first, he swung through to check in on the patients, Jack and Phoebe.

Doctor on Duty, come sneak off with his coffee, Jonathan, you know you wanna.

[ooc: Phoebe!Mun, I'm going off the posting thread last night with House that Phoebe stayed overnight. If this was changed later, please let me know and I'll edit this post accordingly. :)]

Wilson had coffee and he had a crossword puzzle today. It was Friday after all!

The beloved Jamacian Blue Mountain was perking in the pot behind him and he looked vaguely relaxed as he sat at the desk and worked on the puzzle. The Clinic was open.

Doctor on Duty, if you need to come bleed or otherwise steal coffee from him.

[ooc: Okay, new procedure. I'm going to get on the bandwagon and set up comment threads. This is because House!Mun has spoken with Spider and FandomRadio and it's been agreed that anything discussed in the Waiting Room or Lab is free game to broadcast and Bristow and Spider's scrutiney but anything shared in a closed Exam Room is private doctor/patient confidential, NFB or review by Admins -I believe I read that right Spider, let me know if I didn't- so it will be important to hold conversations in the applicable rooms.]

God, so bored.

Jack counted ceiling tiles and crankily wondered how much longer they thought they could keep him here. There was a *party* going on, for Godsakes', and he was missing that, too.

If he *ever* had the chance to pay back Fraiser....

...he went back to counting ceiling tiles, then heard someone in the next room.

"Hey! Come play with me!"

Wilson was whistling, and yes he had a damn good reason to be whistling thankyouverymuch, as he set about opening up the Clinic for the day.

His eyes kept sliding towards the windows and little sighs escaped him as he enjoyed the sunshine, idly he considered heading out with MegaPager on his hip but...no, he needed to finish checking in the equipment he'd ordered from the mainland and of course today was the endoscopy for Grissom.

Setting a pot of coffee to brewing, the lanky oncologist threw himself down into the desk chair and picked up the phone.

First he called House to remind him to call Duce with her test result and then he called through to Paige with her test as well.

That bit of bookkeeping done, he had just reached for a chart when he heard the back door buzz. The shipment he was expecting both regular supplies as well as the extra necessities he'd tacked on for treating Grissom.

Laying a clipboard up on the counter for people to sign in as they needed to, Wilson headed for the back.

Doctor on Duty, come bleed if you wish.

Dr House replenished the lollypop suppy in the bowl on his desk. It was a new bog, and he dug the red ones out and dropped most of them in his desk drawer. The one that locked. He stuck one in ihs mouth and slipped two in his pocket for later, right beside the bottle of Vicodin.

He limped to Exam 5 which doubled as a private room (for the likes of Parker and now Mmm Jack) and checked on the patient. Satisfied everything looked good, he headed back to the main lobby and sat down at the desk. With a little luck, it would be a quiet afternoon, and Wilson would emerge from whatever dark corner he was hidiing in...

Dr House on duty (reluctantly) because he's making an effort to work more hours

Wilson had had an early start, getting up first thing to check in on Jack and then heading down to the school to talk to Bristow. He'd already grabbed a couple cups of coffee in his travels but was returning now to open the Clinic for the day.

Whistling softly, the oncologist flipped on the lights and unlocked the door. He had some papers in his left hand to work on and for once those papers were not charts. Sometimes you just have to cheer the small miracles.

Setting a pot of Kona coffee to brewing, he peeked in on Jack one more time before heading back out to the front. Flopping down at the desk, Wilson kicked his feet up on the counter and pulled the papers into his lap...ahh a nice caffiene high, gottah love it.

Doctor on Duty, ask nicely you might get coffee.
[identity profile] 2ls-in-oneill.livejournal.com
"I don't wanna be here, I'm not sick, you can't make me, I just got outta here, you're Genghis Khan...." Jack's litany of complaints was cut off by a deep, whooping cough. He glared at Janet as he staggered into the clinic ahead of her. "And I really am pissed."
[identity profile] 2ls-in-oneill.livejournal.com
Jack comes in and sets up his things, homework, radio, mini-tv, and a few notebooks. He was hoping to have a slow night and be able to get some homework done before tomorrow. And to avoid Cuddy like the plague.

Jack clicked on the radio and cracked open a book.

Wilson was singing softly as he went about opening up the Clinic for the day. Though his voice certainly would not chase rats out of the barn, there was a pensiveness in his face as he moved around the waiting room and made sure everything was set up.

Retreating then to the front counter, he settled in with a pile of crossword puzzles charts and a large coffee.

No one mention the lack of food please, coffee is a perfectly viable diet. Unless your name is Parker

Doctor on Duty, come break a rib at him or something.
