Clinic Hours - Thursday November 17th 2005

Wilson moved quietly through the Clinic getting the waiting room set up for the day, starting a pot of coffee and opening the doors.

He had restocking to do and paperwork and... more paperwork and it would be nice if he could figure out his own mind somewhere in all that but honestly, he just didn't want to think about some things so...yeah.

Paper Work
Coffee
Restocking.

But first, he swung through to check in on the patients, Jack and Phoebe.

Doctor on Duty, come sneak off with his coffee, Jonathan, you know you wanna.

[ooc: Phoebe!Mun, I'm going off the posting thread last night with House that Phoebe stayed overnight. If this was changed later, please let me know and I'll edit this post accordingly. :)]

Archie, realizing he lost track of the days in all his catchup work, takes a seat in the waiting room for his ordered followup appointment.

Laden with purchases after her time in town, Sam pulled out the bag of red lollipops and two pounds of coffee--one pure, whole bean Kona, the other whole bean Sumatran. While waiting for someone to give her permission to see Jack, she put them on the counter, cursing inwardly at having forgotten to get a card.

If Jack was really starting to get better, she needed to start bribing the clinic staff now, before they threatened to dump him outside, or, worse yet, on her doorstep.

"Morning, Doctor Wilson," she smiled back. "Yes, if I could. I can't believe he hasn't tried to make a run for it yet."

"Oh, and I brought bribes gifts for you and Doctor House, for taking care of him and putting up with all his crap."

Sam absolutely, positively didn't misconstrue that statement until she saw the eyebrow wriggle. Then she started blushing. Probably a use for duct tape she shouldn't mention in shop class.

"I know," Sam responded, taking a sip of her cider, "But I've known him for a long time now, and I don't know how to get him to stop doing it. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears."

Jonathan arrives in the clinic, as if called by the siren song of delicious coffe.

Or maybe he was getting in some counseling hours.

"Hello Doctor Wilson," he calls as he enters the clinic, making a beeline for the coffee maker.

((posting to the right place this time))

After his first sip, Jonathan lets out a small sigh of contentment.

"You guys seriously have the best coffee," he tells him, looking around for a place on the desk that was clear of paperwork to hop up onto.

"So, anything interesting happen yesterday?"

"I was thinking about setting up some hours today but my mun totally fell asleep in the library instead of playing FandomHigh! I've got a killer amount of homework," Jonathan says, hopping up onto the front desk and sipping his coffee.

"So, you're telling me that you did absolutely nothing of any interest in the 2 days since last we spoke?," Jonathan asks with a smile, "Why do I doubt that?"

Phoebe tried swallowing and she let out a soft moan. She opened her eyes, only to close them again when she saw the lights. She didn't know where she was, but she wasn't at home.

She tried to speak and started coughing. After the coughing stopped, she realized that someone was holding her hand. She turned her head and smiled slightly when she saw him asleep and holding he hand.

"Cole?"

TheFutureMasteroftheUnderworld Cole woke up at the sound of Phoebe's voice. "Hey, sweetheart," he said, leaning forward over the bed. "How are you feeling?"

"In the clinic," Cole answered. "I brought you here last night. The doctor insisted that you stay so I spent the night here with you."

Archie follows Wilson into the exam room and hesitantly takes a seat on the edge of the exam table. "I apologize for being late. I seem to have lost track of time amidst all the compensatory work I have to do."

"I am feeling well, sir. A bit fatigued mentally perhaps," he chuckled, "but otherwise well. The . . . what did you call them? Vitamins? They seem to be helping with that."
