Atticus was back in the clinic today with more tea as well as a basket of chocolates. If people needed to be cheered up to feel better, chocolate was a good way to accomplish that as far as he was concerned. Plus, it cheered up the nurses, and he wasn't sure what kind of day they'd have ahead of them.

Scully had awoken cranky, but determined. Time to get to the bottom of her transformation!

She stomped off into town, and shot at two teal deer who tried to stop her from going inside the clinic. She took a sample of their blood as they limped away. (And drank some of it, but not from the sample. You had to keep your materials separate to avoid contamination.)

The nurses were staying waaaay on the other side of the Clinic from her, as she worked on her tests.

"Thith ith ridiculuth," she muttered through her just-starting-to-emerge fangs, as she broke yet another beaker. Really, those things didn't grow on trees!

Then she was absorbed in Science again.

[ocd on its way up!]

Her finals all done, Scully was concentrating on her medical investigations now, trying to find more possibilities for treating Triela. The timeline they'd established in early March said there was less than a month left-- maybe only a few weeks.

A breakthrough could happen any time now, really.

Scully was going over test results again, and not liking the answers she was getting. And doing more online research about brain surgeries. None of them looked very promising.

Martha hated coming into the clinic and finding patients already there, especially when they weren't there for something minor. She split her time between the inventory check she'd been planning, and checking on Raven to see if she was getting any better.

There were monsters on Fandom Island! Ugly grumpy things that got in the dorms and were in the halls and had been everywhere on her way to the clinic and Ino?

Ino was lovin' it.

Sure, she had to work. Sure, the nurses were Displeased with the fact that she came in grinning like a loon and smug from having Thunder'd the crap out of a few of the monsters. (She'd kicked one in the face too and he'd gone flying.)

Ino's glee, however, was unabated. She was going to be Vigilant and Watchful and keeping an eye out for those who needed her medical help.

But when she was free, to the nurses dismay, she was stalking through the clinic, checking supplies and setting things up in case they got a bunch of wounded, and making sure none of the monsters had gotten inside.

Today was an awesome day!

…Well, for Ino anyway. She was relatively sure the less combative people of the town had Other Opinions about the whole invasion thing.

Simon sat down behind the desk at the clinic, doing his best to ignore the amused looks the nurses gave him. In a while, he would go to the bathroom and check if the mirror whether he really did look funny in some way today or whether they were just trying to make fun of him. Meanwhile, he had a medical journal to read.

[open and OCD-free clinic!]
