Clinic Hours - Friday November 11th 2005

Wilson had coffee and he had a crossword puzzle today. It was Friday after all!

The beloved Jamacian Blue Mountain was perking in the pot behind him and he looked vaguely relaxed as he sat at the desk and worked on the puzzle. The Clinic was open.


Doctor on Duty, if you need to come bleed or otherwise steal coffee from him.

[ooc: Okay, new procedure. I'm going to get on the bandwagon and set up comment threads. This is because House!Mun has spoken with Spider and FandomRadio and it's been agreed that anything discussed in the Waiting Room or Lab is free game to broadcast and Bristow and Spider's scrutiney but anything shared in a closed Exam Room is private doctor/patient confidential, NFB or review by Admins -I believe I read that right Spider, let me know if I didn't- so it will be important to hold conversations in the applicable rooms.]

Sam walked in, holding two cups of coffee. "Morning, Doctor Wilson. Coffee?"

Wilson looked up from his crossword and smiled warmly to her, warmer still when he saw she was bringing him a coffee offering.

"You bring the sweetest sacrifices, Samantha. Here to see Jack?"

She winced, but still handed him the coffee. "Call me Sam, Doctor Wilson. Please."

"How's he doing, anyway? I'm really worried about him--for him to be out this long...it's really unusual."

Grissom arrives early, taking a seat in the waiting room until Wilson is available. He looks surprisingly serene, and sits quietly with his hands crossed in his lap.

Wilson came back up front from where he'd been in the back making a phone call back to the mainland.

Smiling, gently when he saw Dr. Grissom the oncologist walked up towards the man.

"Dr. Grissom, thank you for coming in. How are you feeling today?"

[CJ runs in, breathing hard.] Dr. Wilson? James? Are you here?

Wilson was finishing cleaning up the exam rooms for the weekend when he heard CJ's voice.

Her tone brought him rapidly out of one of the exam rooms.

"What's wrong, CJ?"

[Leaning on the counter, catching her breath.] Geoff Chaucer is on his way in. He's been beat up pretty bad. I ran, but Loz is bringing Geoff up on his bike. ((and it'll take the mun about an hour to get here))

[About ten minutes later, Ten comes up to the front desk. He rings the wee bell. And then waits. The smell is getting to him. Too sterile. He taps his fingers on the top of the desk.]

[Walking out only a few moments after the bell rings, she sees him and runs into his arms.] Oh, god...thank you for coming.

Leaving the exam room, Loz stopped in his tracks when he saw the large ball iin the waiting room. "What the fuck?" he whispered. He'd heard about the campus security and really shouldn't be surprised to see it actually in the flesh...rubber...whatever.

He held his hands to the side. "I'm leaving. No trouble."

Grissom follows Wilson back into Exam 2, and takes a seat.

"I have done some reading (http://www.cancer.org/docroot/MBC/content/MBC_2_1x_Managing_Side_Effects_of_Chemotherapy.asp?sitearea=MBC) on my own in preparation for the treatment. How long do you think the treatments themselves will take, and how debilitating will this course be?"

Closing the door behind him Wilson walked over to lean against the counter as he waited for Grissom to get comfortable up on the table.

"The treatment should take a couple of hours, start to finish with a period for me to hold you to observe for any allergic reactions. You will probably feel all right tonight, some time tomorrow you'll notice some of the side effects. Usually fatigue and nausea. For this particular course the fatigue is going to be the worst, as we step it up over the next few weeks, the side effects will step up as well. Each person reacts differently, we'll see how you handle it and then we can discuss medications to counter some of the more debilitating effects such as the anemia and the nausea."

[ooc: House!Mun said she had something sketched down to but that she needed to scan it. Right now I'm rough sketching it that there is the main waiting room, with five Exam rooms behind it, the office House and Wilson share across from Exam 5, with the lab and supply rooms sitting opposite each other at the back and the apartment beyond them. If that helps?]

Ok...so, he was really angry earlier. Mean. Not like himself. And when we came back, we found him like this. Except for the unconcious part. [Looks sideways at Loz.]
