Dr House replenished the lollypop suppy in the bowl on his desk. It was a new bog, and he dug the red ones out and dropped most of them in his desk drawer. The one that locked.He stuck one in ihs mouth and slipped two in his pocket for later, right beside the bottle of Vicodin.

He limped to Exam 5 which doubled as a private room (for the likes of Parker and now Mmm Jack) and checked on the patient. Satisfied everything looked good, he headed back to the main lobby and sat down at the desk. With a little luck, it would be a quiet afternoon, and Wilson would emerge from whatever dark corner he was hidiing in...

Dr House on duty (reluctantly) because he's making an effort to work more hours

Parker was back, bearing the Ebola virus Plushie, looking impatient. "Is he awake *now*? Can I visit him?"

House sucked on his lolly, rolling it around his mouth, and slurping as he pulled it out.

"Sleeping." He shrugged. "Just checked on his five minutes ago. Come back later."

Parker stuck her tongue out at House. "Stop yelling and I will!" she called back.

Sam rolled her eyes when she heard Jack yelling. "Yet another two uses for duct tape...his mouth and to keep him in bed until he's better," she muttered.

"Girl after mine own heart!" House called after her. "Tell him to quit disturbing the sound space or I'll stuff a sock in his mouth. After I let you duct tape hom."

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," said Janet. Obviously Jack needed something to do to occupy his time. "I brought you a book."

Parker waved to Janet as she came in. "Party time," she sang.

Sam came in about a minute later, carrying a large bag and looking like she was going to be there for the long haul--books, notebooks, pencils, and a sandwich.

Without noticing the doctor or Parker, she walked towards the back of the clinic, to sit quietly with Jack like she had been for the last two days.

Alanna came into the clinic, looking peeved and tired.

"Alanna," House looked up and acknowledged her with a nod. "You here to work?"

Alanna nodded. "Yeah, however, if someone calls me I may need to take off." She sighed. "Anything that needs to be done?"

"Think you could find a muzzle for Jack and a padlock for Exam 5?" House asked, looking every bit serious.

"Everything okay with you?"

Maia came into the clinic "Hi I am here for a follow up."

House looked up and tugged the lolly out of his mouth.

"And you are...Maureen? Maria?" House asked, without making an effort to stand up. He knows her name, he just likes to mess with people by calling them something at least vagually similar.

Maia's eyebrow raised "Right in one its Maia." She says smirking at the doctor.

"Maia. Of course." He scratched his chin. "An how are we feeling today, Miss Maia?"

"House," Cuddy walks into the clinic and frowns. "Where's Wilson?"

"Is it my turn to watch him? Oh cap. I forgot! He's probably out back playing in traffic! Thank goodness you're here to save him!"

Lisa does not look amused. Perhaps because she is still covered underneath her clothes by festering, nasty cuts from her run-in with the pond monster this weekend. "If he's out playing in traffic, I wonder who we have to blame for that..." She rolls her eyes, "Do you have my test results, or do I have to wait for Robin?"

House mutters something about Batman and Robin and goes to find Lisa's file, without saying anything to Lisa. He finds it, along with an antibiotic.

"Dr Wilson's tests conclude you have a bacterial infection." House tossed the perscription to her. "Directions for use ar on the box. I'll assume you know how to read."
