Mina was only taking a half-day at the clinic today. She had a mission to go to. So that morning, she spent her time at the front desk, making sure everything was in order. In case, well, the most horrible outcome occured from this mission.

[ooc: OCD free, Mina is only there until noon, mod your treatment after that, and yes, Mina's last clinic post. Woe. But tonight, there will be blood plot!]

Mina was being so sweet and kind to all the clinic staff today. Helping them out with their own work, giving them a hand in their projects, asking about their relatives and general well-being.

And to top it off, she was wearing modern clothes again. A short sleeves blouse with a low (but not too low) neckline, a pencil skirt, and high heels, no less.

Hell had definitely frozen over.

[ooc: Open, OCD free, work slow warning!]

Mina's day at the clinic was consisting of sitting at the front desk, playing solitaire. With real cards. The front computer seemed to have developed some sort of interface glitch.

She didn't know that a vindictive nurse had struck Mina with that silly prank where you screencap the desktop, set it as the background, than secretly switch off the icons and control bar.

Mina actually wasn't perturbed. Though it had not had a positive effect on her clinic productivity.

[ooc: OCD free, open, I will try to reply to pings as fast as possible while at work!]

Mina's clinic shift today was predominantly mired in her doing the inventory, with occasional stops out to the front desk. She was more than a little worried about the maintenance man, who appeared to be muttering something about a penny wedged in a door or something.

But in the meantime, she'd be happy to assist you with any medical needs.

[ooc: OCD free, open post, will reply from work!]

Mina frowned at the reports she had received from the League. Only those sent by Dr. Moreau had any real scientific worth, and his hypotheses were mostly disturbing if not utterly immoral.

They really needed a scientist around, she thought.

But for now she was happy to work her boring old clinic shift, happy in the monotony and routine.

[ooc: Open, OCD free... and I probably won't be able to reply for a long time as I fly out of town today]

Mina was at her clinic shift as usual. Today's not-so-work-related activities involved starting a flamewar with some Dracula fanfic writers about how they were doing it wrong.

She really didn't like how some of them portrayed her. She was not an obstacle to Jonathan and the Count's undying love, okay?

You may poke the vampire at the clinic front desk as you like. She may give you an earful about silly people on the internet, however.

Mina was doing some extra work at the clinic today. She was sorting through files to see which could be sent to storage. But don't let that stop you from approaching her at the front clinic desk if you need her. She'd be happy to stop the tedium to help you with your ouchies and our serious diseases.

Mina's day at the clinic today mostly consisted of digitizing the reports that the League had sent her. No one there would be able to appreciate a finely crafted spreadsheet of the data collected by Moreau on the Martians, but it did help her make sense of the madman's notes.

She was, of course, ignoring both her original moral objections to the crown's handling of the Martian invasion and the dread sense that Moreau was a liability, not a true asset. For now, the data seemed useful.

Oh, and she was behind the desk in case anyone needed medical assistance.

Mina had the clinic on standby for people who accidentally stabbed their date attaching a lapel flower or twisted an ankle dancing.

And yes, there was a bowl of condoms on the front desk with a 'Take One' sign next to it. If you could stand the raised eyebrow and piercing gaze of Mina Murray as you took one.

She'd have fun with that, really.

Mina was at the clinic today. Sadly there was nothing special about her behavior or activities. But she'd happily assist anyone with medical needs.

[ooc: OCD free and open and lame, sorry]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina wasn't treating this revitalized propriety as a regression. More a return to her moral center.

And yes, she had been avoiding Nathan since returning to the island. Or... really just about everyone. She was just coming to terms with what had happened. She'd return to being properly sociable this weekend.

For now, she could be found behind the front desk of the clinic, ready to help you with your boo-boos.

[ooc: OCD free, I'm fleeing to work, I will reply to each and every tag when I get home!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina had dyed her hair back to her natural color, and was now back to very modest and proper Victorian attire. Not even a hint of the modernity she'd been slowly incorporating. The other nurses, of course, all complimented her, but they weren't exactly happy to see her seemingly reverting to how she acted when she first had started working at the clinic.

Mina dealt with her problems in her own special way, really.

But she would be more than happy to assist anyone with their medical needs.

[ooc: Open, OCD free, normal 'can't reply at work' caveat but promise to reply when I get off!]

Mina had been keeping to herself since the incident on the trip to the Bahamas.

She dared not even go do inventory today. She sat alone at the front desk and the other staff thankfully kept their distance.

[ooc: Short post is short, but I will be more than happy to answer any tags after work! OCD free and open]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina was at her usual clinic shift, and she made sure that any TVs that were near wherever in the clinic she was working were playing Olympics coverage.

Otherwise, she was around if you wished to speak with her, or if you'd hurt yourself, or you needed to have an examination.

[ooc: OCD free, answering all pings later, usual drill!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina was at the clinic for her regular shift that day. She did her inventory and filing duties, and then settled in behind the front desk with a novel she'd found in one of the lockers.

A copy of Dusk in fact.

Please pay no attention to any giggles that may be coming from the prim and proper lady sitting at the front desk.

[ooc: Open, OCD free, I'm around because I'm home sick, blargh.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina opened up the clinic, and was actually not messing about on Facebook for once.

Today she was, instead, trapped in games of Spider Solitaire. Mina from six months ago would be ashamed of herself.

If anyone needed her, she was behind the desk.

[ooc: Open, OCD free, will answer all pings when off work.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina Murray sat at the front desk of the clinic, boggled by a simple game's deviation of typical perspective. Yes, she was playing a computer game. Sooner or later, she'd be buying a kindle and iPhone and all the other devices she had so easily scorned. She was starting to see the appeal. Slowly but surely.

Oh, and she'd help anyone with medical needs, if they walked in.

[ooc: OCD first. Open and stuff.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina was not the type to take New Year's Day off of work.

Though she figured most drunken accidents would have already occurred, she needed to be around in case anyone woke up from their New Year's stupor with glass in their face or some other such stupid nonsense.

In the meantime, she was browsing the internet on her work computer. It always helped her feel smarter than so many other people.

[ooc: Open! OCD free and all that. I'll be gone for a Christmas dinner (yes, I know) and then probably Sherlock Holmes, but back later!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina's shift at the clinic today was punctuated by her, well... attempting to squash the snow angels that she spotted.

"This is supposed to be a sterile area!" she'd shout, having seemingly lost her temper.

It was also possible she just was losing fondness of the holiday times. Not that she'd admit that.

[Flying OCD free. Come one, come all.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina sat at the front desk of the clinic today, futzing with Facebook again.

"Chestris? What the... what is the point? I believe Allan would think this a highly trivialized notion of treasure hunting..." she said, mostly to herself.

She'd be grateful for any medical emergencies, so that she'd feel useful. Seriously.

[ooc: Open, OCD free]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina was trying to be droll about the fact she kept discovering Christmas ornaments in drawers at the clinic today.

Trying.

She normally did not have much holiday cheer. This was only beginning to aggravate her.

Give her enough agitation, and she might just shout 'humbug'.

But for now, she was behind the front desk at the clinic, ready to help you in case you'd accidentally stepped on a Christmas ornament.

[ooc: OCD free, I'll interact with anyone who comes once I get home from work!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina had gotten sucked into the evil world of the internet even further.

Yes, she had a Facebook.

While she still was doing her clinic duty... she was also making sure her silly Farmville crops were not put to waste. As she thought, there were probably digital starving children in digital Europe or Asia.

You could find her behind the front desk. Trying not to look like she was on the internet.

[ooc: OCD free! Open!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Twas the day before Halloween, and all through the clinic, not a creature was stirring because... Mina had gathered all the equipment for an inventory and there weren't any patients. The other staff seemed to be having a little Halloween work party, but she did not partake. For one, she was not in costume. Two, she found most of those colleagues disagreeable. Three, there was work to do. The others may feel the need to slack off, but Mina was ever diligent.

You could find her behind the front desk, if you came in.

[ooc: the OCD is off doing the Monster Mash. Open!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina worked hard today, sorting supplies, tabulating inventories, making sure staff schedules were correct. If anything, she did not want to be caught slacking off if anyone were to enter the clinic today.

That would be most unbecoming of her.

For now, she was behind the front desk, sorting some paperwork and double-checking they were signed properly.

[ooc: No OCD, as I suspect no one plans major medical emergencies for homecoming. Just sayin'. Open!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina was not too worried about working hard today. The town was quiet, so the likelihood of injury or worse was very small.

Instead, she occupied her time with playing Parcheesi on the internet.

[ooc: Open, OCD free!]

While Mina may have recently gotten a position at the Mauvaise Chance Apartments, that did not mean she'd shirk her clinic duties.

She was there, working diligently, though she also had some apartment paperwork that she was looking over when she had the chance.

[ooc: Open and OCD free]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Completely unaware there was a visitor coming for her, Mina worked her clinic shift as normal. Filing, supply sorting, paperwork finishing, the like.

Usual tedium, really. She was honestly very much considering a change in profession. She just was not sure what.

[ooc: Open, OCD free.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina manned her station at the clinic...

as much as one really 'mans' their station when they are, again, trolling the vampire web forums on the internet. Mina had an addiction, it seemed, to destroying these 'fantastical' notions people had about her kind.

This week, she was ranting about how vampires did not burst into flames in the sun, and anyone who believed such Hollywood myth should consider themselves fools.

Yes, she realized that it was possible there were actual vampires that did have an aversion to sunlight. But she had yet to meet any.

[ooc: OCD drowned in holy water. Have at me!]

Saturday found Ino, as per usual, at the clinic and surrounded by notes in-between chattering to the nurses on duty.

The notes today weren't technically for her medical studies, but they still sort of counted so Ino didn't think it was totally weird to be going over them while at work. Yes, that sort of thing mattered to her.

Sometimes, even Ino knew the importance of planning.
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina was rather too pleased that her efforts of last week had caused some sort of splintering in the online vampire fandom.

Someone really needed to give her a better hobby. She was trolling again this week. But she'd help anyone who came into the clinic, of course.

[ooc: The OCD burst into flames in the sunlight.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Good on her word, Mina was spending her hours at the clinic today stalking the internet.

And making comments on vampire fan forums.

Because being a troll was surprisingly fun.

Oh, Mina.

[ooc: The OCD has been sucked dry. Open!]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina found herself a little twitchy at work today. She knew it would be easy to simply slip into a supply closet and indulge her hunger, but she wanted to be better than that.

Then again, she found herself wanting to bite some of her more rude coworkers, so that possibly wasn't really the place to draw the moral line.

[ooc: Clinic open, OCD free]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina worked hard today at the clinic. Busied herself amongst doing the inventory, and other clerical duties.

Busy work to distract the mind, really.

[ooc: Open and OCD free.]
[identity profile] funnyways.livejournal.com
Mina sighed. Her roots were starting to show a bit, crimson at the base of her longer, blond strands. She'd have to fix that, soon. She wished to stay blond for the time being. It was a coping thing, and she freely admitted it.

As if having different hair somehow made her not the same person responsible for the death of all those innocent Londoners.

But for today, Mina busied herself with the clinic work. She was far too amused by the plight of some of her male coworkers. She resisted the urge to tell them to stop being such girls about it.

[ooc: OCD free, and very open!]

Mina settled into her clinic shift, pleased to have work to do. There was research to be done, inventory to catalog, and... she was weaning herself off her little clinic secret.

Which might have been a bad idea, but now that she'd told Martha, it seemed like the missing supplies would draw notice.

Mina Murray was a diligent worker this week at the clinic. The supplies were sorted and organized. The desk was polished squeaky clean.

...Yes, she was cleaning and organizing as part of her coping mechanism. She still hadn't quite allowed herself to process the fact she was no longer an agent of the crown. Or that Hyde had sacrificed himself to save London.

Even for all she'd seen, it was still hard to deal with.

Mina worked hard at the clinic, and today was no exception. Though she did make the time to read through an annotated report on her report that the League higher-ups had sent her. She paused when the report included a photo of herself and her former husband.

She certainly saw no reason for them to include it.

She stared at it for a few moments, then promptly tossed it in one of the waste bins. A painful reminder shouldn't be kept around, she thought.

Mina knew she was getting odd looks from the other staff this week. However, she returned those odd looks with withering glares that discouraged them from saying anything. Or even asking her anything.

Satisfied they'd been put in their place, Mina Harker set about finishing the draft of her important report back to the League. She'd have to deliver it soon, she realized.

Mina Harker was getting very funny looks from the staff today. Mainly because she was wearing quite ill fitting chain mail instead of her normal clothing. She also refused to say why she wasn't in her normal clothes (as having borrowed them from the man she'd been sleeping with the past 36 hours or so did not seem a proper thing to say, even in her mood). The other part was that she kept ducking into a supply closet and coming out minutes later with red smudges on her lips that she'd keep, well, licking clean.

She was, quite indeed, completely overwhelmed by her lack of control. But at least she wasn't hurting anyone.

[ooc: Slow getting up, so... OCD free!]

Mina had finished up most of the paperwork for her report. She felt that it would do no good to gloss over such aspects as gremlin venom and zombie curses, so it wasn't the most flattering report. Honesty, however, was quite important. Full disclosure would assure the League of the need of her station here on Fandom, certainly.

With that out of the way, Mina busied herself with her clerical nursing duties. Her mind may have wandered a bit, but mostly she was on the top of her game.

Mina Harker was drafting a copy of her report to the League today. While it made her look like she was doing real clinic work, she did have a pang of guilt for doing outside business during her shift.

It was hard to come up with a report that didn't make her seem totally insane, or at the very least a fabricator of lies.

Mina sighed. If she was unable to present a proper report, she feared that they would remove her from this position in the future. That was a possibility she did not wish to consider.

[ooc: OCD free. Very Open. See notes as to availability on Covent Garden or Pop Star class.]

Mina Harker, the hard worker that she was, was not about to take a day off just because she'd recently received a letter saying that she would be required to make a six month report back in London. Her London.

The thought of having to return to her London did not make her happy in the least. She was beginning to prefer this modern time, debauched as it was. At least it would be a chance to catch up with the fellows members of the League.

As it was, Mina busied herself with itemizing the clinic inventory.

And maybe fudging a few numbers as to the pints of blood.

Mina Harker found herself fiddling with some paperwork today. She had another letter from Agent Sawyer, which she was distinctly not going to read. She just wanted to find out where the clinic kept its paper shredder.

Silly boy, his attentions were far mislaid.

[ooc: Open. OCD free. I fail. I'm also exhausted. Argh.]

When 'Mina' stepped into the clinic today, all the other staff stared.

She was in what was her normal fighting outfit.

Only now the neckline plunged all the way to her navel, giving anyone seeing her front a pretty decent view of, well, almost a good half of her bosom.

Anyone behind her would see that it was similarly cut. It... even showed a little butt cleavage.

She wore an eyepatch, heart-shaped, and was barking orders to people in a terrible Russian accent.

Since most of the staff knew she was actually capable of doing some bodily harm, they just went along with it.

Then, 'Mina' sat down at the front desk, to make sure anyone who needed medical assistance today really did need medical assistance.

[ooc: Yeah, Mina is Molotov C**ktease today. I... yeeeeah. OCD first, please. Open!]
