Clinic Hours - Tuesday November 22nd 2005

The passage of air was LOUD today and Wilson moved very, very carefully in an attempt to keep the air as still as possible. He was late opening the Clinic not because he was late getting *to* the Clinic but because he was moving very slowly…in the hope of keeping the air really quiet.

Getting the doors open, he started a pot of coffee and sucked back the third 20oz bottle of water he’d been drinking since about oh…not too many hours ago. Putting a happy face on, he managed to do rounds without passing out, which was a blessing, checking in on Rory, Logan and Jack before crawling back up to the front desk.

Sitting down, very carefully –DAMN AIR WILL YOU SHUT UP!- Wilson leaned forward till he could cradle his head on his forearms. Seven…liquors….what the hell had he been thinking last night?

Dragging his water bottle down into his lap to snuggle it close, Wilson reached for the half a piece of bagel he’d been trying to choke down for over an hour now. He was about half-way through it. By noon he might be finished with it.

If I live that long…Crowley is going to kill me.

Taking a slow breath, Wilson sat up and reached for a chart. He was being in his charting and really needed to catch up, if the little black squiggly lines would just stay still long enough for him to read them.

Angela is in the waiting room before her journalism class, carrying a book and a CD for Rory. She gratefully grabs a cup fo coffee and sucks it down.

"Hey, Dr. Wilson. Is Rory Gilmore okay for visitors?

Wilson looked up, albit carefully and smiled for Angela.

"Sure, go on back, give the door a knock though to make sure she's awake."

[At some point in time, Ten bounces in. He's there for no apparent reason other than the coffee and is totally singing 'I Walk the Line', under his breath.]

Wilson looked up, blinked...rubbed his eyes and peered over at The Doctor again.

"Huh...I thought you hated this place? Is Jamacian Blue Mountain really that rare around these parts?"

"Yo, doc." Cameron says as he bounces into the clinic, carrying a bag from the NPC bakery. He suddenly remembers the last time he spoke to Wilson and tones it down a bit. "I'm uh... here to see Rory Gilmore."

Wilson was grateful when Cameron toned down his voice because..... HANGOVER!!!

Still that didn't keep him from smiling to the young man and waving him back towards the rooms.

That would be the more then slightly hungover Dr. Wilson today.

"Hello there, Lily." He smiled gently as she seemed to approach the front desk.

It was sometime in the afternoon, when House gimped into the clinic. He was still using the crutches, because. Yeah. Yesterday, the cold and the rain? Not good for the leg, as it turned out. Despite soaking in a hot bath, or maybe because he'd cut back his Vocidin again, he still wasn't able to bear weight on his right leg without whimpering in agony.

He knew his entrance wasn't undetected, but still hovered back, against the wall, debating about what to do, or say, now that he was in the clinic. After a minute, he went to the front side of the desk.

"I did my own charting for last week." Not the best of lines, but it seemed to be all he had without sounding really pathetic.

After Shop Class, Sam walked in carrying the leftovers from the turkey dinner Mac had made in the garage. "Doctor Wilson? I've got food. D'you want me to just leave it here, or do you want to refrigerate it?"

Alanna came into the clinic and swung her bag into an empty bag, eliciting a loud meowl of protest from it. After glaring at her bag, she waved cheerfully at Dr. Wilson. "Are you feeling all right?"

In her room, Rory was bored.

And feeling energetic.

She carefully, slowly sat up and shifted to stand up. "Okay," she murmured, standing. "Not so hard."

She carefully made her way to the door, and hesitantly walked out into the main clinic. Not seeing anyone around, she gleefully helped herself to a few lollipops (though she did notice she conspicuous lack of red ones) and found a small stack of Post-Its.

She grinned as she stuck her found goodies in her pocket, and slowly headed towards Logan's room, from which she could hear voices.

Free the O'Neill

[ooc: I've got to beg pardon here as I am zonked but I know you want loose. :D Wilson would free Jack into Sam's care, with strict instructions about taking care of himself and some sort of dire threat if Jack darkens their doorsteps in a 'patient' type capacity before the first of the year. The hungover Wilson would then have toddled off to find a flat space to lay down and crash. :D]

Jack listened to the good House-Boy and nodded his head in all the appropriate places, agreeing to find Carter and let her know--wait. Okay, not so much for the whole letting Carter know she has full claims on him at the moment thing but aside from that...

Hmm. Now. What to do first...

Sam, after many discreet glares at O'Neill, nodded appropriately and politely, trying to remember the instructions clearly so she could repeat them to Janet. "We won't let him overexert, Doctor Wilson, I promise."

She turned to Jack. "You coming, or am I waiting all afternoon for you?"

As Anakin listened to the recording, his face slowly drained of color. His hands clenched into fists.

When he finally looked at Logan, his eyes were very, very cold. "This thing, this monster, is what Belthazor wants to protect?" he spat. "Whatever torture the soul is giving Angelus, whatever torment he might be feeling? Absolutely just."
