FTEC, Friday
Atticus was back in the clinic today with more tea as well as a basket of chocolates. If people needed to be cheered up to feel better, chocolate was a good way to accomplish that as far as he was concerned. Plus, it cheered up the nurses, and he wasn't sure what kind of day they'd have ahead of them.

Volunteers [Fri]
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
He arrived early, frowning briefly at the pain radiating from this place in the Force.

She didn't know much about the care and feeding of humans and humanoid creatures, but she was very good at hugs!
[ooc: play will be sporadic until about 6pm EDT. Friiiiiiidaaaaaaay!]
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
He dropped it off at the front of the clinic, in plain sight.
Helpfully, it read, in sharpie:
TAKE SOMEBODY ELSE'S STUFF AND WE WILL FIND OUT AND
(scribbled) wewilltearyourheadoff.
He'd be hanging around for a while to keep an eye on it, but really, guys. The honor system, please?
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
The last thing she was expecting to find in there, amongst all the trinkets, was a strong, well-coiled, and very long strand of light brown hair.
She wasn't used to seeing it brown, but...it was kind of unmistakable. Who else had yards of hair? But why would someone else want -- no. That part was easy. Even if she knew that it lost power when cut, there was no guarantee anyone else would.
But why would someone else take her hair to give to this Mr. Gaunt? And who would?
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
That harp probably hated her, but Kenzi was gonna get it back to Roland so it could hate her from where it belonged.

Re: Volunteers [Fri]
The piece of green paper with handwriting on it was picked up much more carefully. It was old, now, and fragile, and Karla would be returning it to its rightful owner with as little damage as possible.
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
It broke her heart, seeing so many people sickly and feeling bad about themselves.
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
So could Foucault!
So they were both here, ready to help however they could.
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
Re: Volunteers [Fri]
Sitting with patients was something he was quite good at. And while he didn't have the opportunity to hug often he was good at that as well.
Patients [Fri]
Re: Patients [Fri]
God, he was so stupid.

Re: Patients [Fri]
He had just enough energy to feel self-conscious about showing up here looking all Jedi-in-battle-armor, which was something he tried not to do around Sparkle, but kark it. He had worse things on his mind. At least Sparkle being asleep meant that he didn't have to feel too bad about the fact his pazaak face wasn't working and he was looking every bit as tired, concerned, relieved, guilty, and terrified as he felt.
He sank down in the seat by Sparkle's bed. Right, by the time the kid opened his eyes, he'd come up with something snarky to make up for the together he wasn't managing elsewhere.

Maybe the curse had gotten him so riled up it'd actually short circuited the paranoia center of his brain. Or maybe he'd been even worse off than he'd thought. Or, you know, maybe it had to do with the fact that he knew Parker and Hardison were there and he could trust them to keep an eye out.
Whichever it was, he wasn't in a rush to get up. He knew from experience how much he stiffened up after prolonged captivity, and he wasn't really looking to fall on his face just yet.

He narrowed his eyes at the man.
"Fine."
"..."
"You have nice hair, I guess."
There. That was as nice as he could be!
