FTEC -- Saturday [January 23]

There were monsters on Fandom Island! Ugly grumpy things that got in the dorms and were in the halls and had been everywhere on her way to the clinic and Ino?

Ino was lovin' it.

Sure, she had to work. Sure, the nurses were Displeased with the fact that she came in grinning like a loon and smug from having Thunder'd the crap out of a few of the monsters. (She'd kicked one in the face too and he'd gone flying.)

Ino's glee, however, was unabated. She was going to be Vigilant and Watchful and keeping an eye out for those who needed her medical help.

But when she was free, to the nurses dismay, she was stalking through the clinic, checking supplies and setting things up in case they got a bunch of wounded, and making sure none of the monsters had gotten inside.

Today was an awesome day!

…Well, for Ino anyway. She was relatively sure the less combative people of the town had Other Opinions about the whole invasion thing.

Karla ducked her head inside after blasting several nearby gremlins with Craft. She was running out of energy to indulge in creativity. "Ino!" she called. "You good?"

Ino was, currently, mopping up blood from another little gremlin body that she'd booted out the door.

Her hair was in disarray, her clothing was blood splattered, and her grin was brilliant when Karla stuck her head inside.

"Isn't this awesome?" she carolled. "We haven't had any injured here yet either!"

Which, clearly, meant that the day was free to be revelled in. Violence, yay!

Castiel, Priestly, and an unconscious Claudia appeared just outside the door. Castiel picked Claudia up and carried her in, strides long and sure.

"We require assistance."

And Ino's mop was set aside with speed that wasn't, precisely, normal human as her grin faded and she flipped from 'battle mode' to 'healer mode' right away.

"You've got it," she said, taking in the scene in a heartbeat, looking the other two over for injuries. "Right this way, please, and tell me what injuries you're aware of."

She'd check, of course, but it was good to have starting point beyond 'unconscious'.

After disposing of his attackers, Griff realized his head was still bleeding in spite of his sleeve pressed firmly against the scratches and chunk of scalp the gremlin had removed along with his hair. For once he did the logical thing and jumped himself straight to the clinic after disposing (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/2360055.html) of his attackers.

"Ino! Think I could get a bandage or something for this?"

Ino gave him a long look as she kicked her latest gremlin body to the side absently. "I think you need a clinic room for that," she said, glad to see him upright at least. "But lucky you're in the right place."

Also, she was not getting more blood on the floor of the lobby. Despite her words, there wasn't much humour in her face as she took in the injuries. Head wounds. They tended to bleed a lot.

He was otherwise mobile, though, which was a good sign.

"This way."

In the early hours of the afternoon, Emma came in, holding up a permissively modded highly concussed Jack Priest. They'd managed to make it all the way down from the school, only running into a few more (easily dispatched) gremlins.

"Hello? Anyone home?"

"Hi?" Jack called, a bit feebly. He grasped the edge of the desk for balance, and a bruise swelling on his forehead gave a sign of his concussion.

Sometime that morning, Leda came in with Momo-er, Blossom. She had a nasty bite on her wrist and gouges on her shoulders.

Blossom looked around trying to find who was on duty. Ah! It looked like it was another invasion! She was going to have to go back and see how she could help. Not that she hadn't been planning on going back to take care of those ones in Leda's room.

But first, she had to make sure the injured girl was going to be taken care of, which meant waiting until someone from the clinic came and checked her out.

"You're not feeling worse from the flight or anything, are you?" Blossom eyed Leda's shoulders in some concern.

"Up on the bed," she half ordered, half requested of the ... man she didn't know. "Her, not you. Not 'less you're injured as well."

Ino wasn't kidding around, not with injuries. And it didn't matter who was injured--they'd get treated the same.

Well, Zack might get laughed at.

The young man who followed Ino into the exam room had a nasty bruise with a bloody scrape near the center rising on his forehead where he'd smacked hard into a table. He was also still wobbling, dizzy.

"Emma has to come with me," he said. "I don't remember what happened."

Claudia was here, awake, thankfully, a little annoyed and embarrassed at the whole "got myself electrocuted by my own battery pack" thing.

She was gonna have to work on that design.
