Libby still had one more class to get through tomorrow, but her mind was already on the trip home for the holiday and the winter break, and getting to see her family again, especially all the Littles, baby Hope most of all. She knew she'd be pretty useless for work unless something dire happened, and so she was just mostly helping to string up some lights around the waiting room (clearly inspired by the rickshaws) and exchanging stories with the nurses about their holidays.

Christmas in this way, after all, was still pretty new to Libby, so she was fascinated about all the different ways people celebrated, and thought it could be fun to try and bring some of those things back home with her, too.

And maybe it was just the fact that the holiday whimsy of the day didn't apply to him at all, but Stabby didn't seem even remotely crabby that day!

Well, beyond the usual essence of crabbiness just by being a crab, anyway.
