The nurses were still giving her odd looks, but Chloe was feeling better about being in the clinic. It might have helped that she'd bought donuts and coffee as a peace offering, which warmed things up a bit. At the moment, she was trying to go through what was left of her bank accounts to see if anyone was on her trail, and it seemed like she was safe - as safe as she could be on this island, at least.
