Stabby was in a mood when Stark arrived at the clinic after his classes.

He'd won Paintball so he was cheerful as he handed over the usual coffees.

The crab, however, was decidedly not cheerful.

"Is he all right?" Stark asked.

"He's in his blue period," a nurse explained. "See the latest paintings?"

The clinic was open, the crab was figuratively blue, and the alien remained ginger.
