Fandom Clinic, Monday 3/14
Monday, March 13th, 2023 08:02 amStark had forgotten to pick up coffees for everyone this morning but the nurses didn't immediately notice that or the fact that he walked in quietly humming to himself. There were a lot of things on his mind this morning.
There was also a lot on the minds of the nurses who were huddled around Stabby's tank looking at a photo on his little crab computer screen.
"What are we looking at?" he asked, peering over a nurse's shoulder.
"Stabby was denied service at a restaurant this weekend! He had a date with the lobsters and had a reservations the restaurant refused him entry just because he's a crab!"
"Oh."
"And why are you looking so chipper, Stark? And where's the coffee?"
"...I forgot," he admitted, ducking his head. "I've been distracted." Very happily distracted but definitely distracted.
"Oh, I'll bet you were," the nurse said, smirking.
"I'll get some coffee in a bit!" Stark was hoping for a distraction from discussion of his being distracted.
"We're meeting with Stabby's lawyer at 11," the nurse told him. "Be back before then."
"He has a lawyer?"
"Keith the raccoon agreed to a consult. There might be a discrimination case."
Stark sighed at the mention of a raccoon but busied himself with several small activities so he wouldn't think on it too much. He had much better things to think about.
The clinic was open, the alien was in and happily distracted, and the crab was going to have an important meeting with a raccoon.
