Elli's attempt to get a job at the clinic had gone more than satisfactorily. The nurses were all incredibly kind and understanding when she stammered through the fact that, really, she didn't know hardly anything at all but that she was incredibly willing to learn…

It was slightly baffling to be hired on the spot.

The head nurse had possibly taken pity on her.

"I get to use a computer?!" Elli was equal parts awed and anxious about this. "No, I'm willing, it's just that I've never—"

Yes, yes, the nurse assigned to teach her soothed. It would be okay. They all had to start somewhere.

"Okay," she said bracingly. "I can do this…"
