Fandom Clinic, Friday
Friday, June 22nd, 2018 10:20 am"And this is my office," Cristina said, turning her phone in a slow circle so she could give Meredith, whom she was Facetiming, a good look. "Don't mind the fruit basket. Apparently the nurses have decided fruit is my 'thing'."
"So?" Meredith said, frowning.
"So what?"
"WHERE'S THE REST OF IT?"
"There is no rest of it," Cristina said with a sigh. "That's what I've been trying to tell you. I'm in Podunk."
"Then why are you smiling?!"
Cristina shrugged, settling back in her chair and spinning in a slow circle. "You."
She'd go back to grumpily snarking at people in a moment. She still hadn't gotten to operate on anything in ages. She'd possibly actually kill someone to get to do an appendectomy right now. But her person was -- well, not here, but available to talk to. It was a huge relief.
"Well stop it. It's creepy. And also an island kidnapped you, is populated by magic aliens, and apparently runs on a totally different time frame from the real world. There is nothing to smile about!"
Cristina sighed happily. "You get me."
