Gabrielle's partially eaten scroll seemed to be fine today, but she was a little bit disappointed that her boots didn't look chewed up any more; she'd already spent half of yesterday coming up with creative story openings to explain their state.

In lieu of that, she'd just spend a good chunk of her shift today wheedling the nurses into telling her all about their experiences with the goats. Anything for a good story.
