Millie was not her usual cheerful self today, which had the nurses even more worried. When Millie lost her cheer you knew things were bad.

She'd lost all contact with her world, with Christopher and Gabriel and everyone. And as if that wasn't badly enough, despite all her scrying, she couldn't find the slightest glimpse of any of the related worlds.
