It had been a weirdly musical week, between Madrox's class and Pinkie Pie's, so Scully had put on decent music at the Clinic, anticipating that some other music weirdness would happen soon.

She was also text-arguing with Mulder about Parent's Weekend in a few weeks. And not winning. Yet.
