Martha was sitting at the main desk trying to block out the chatter of gossiping nurses so she could focus on the medical journal she was reading. Maybe if she started reading the articles out loud, she could gross the others out enough to make them take their conversation to one of the exam rooms. It was a mean, if tempting thought.
