Samuel arrived at the clinic for his shift today in the middle of a phone call with his father.
"Yes, Da, everything is fine. I'm fine, the apartment's fine, the whole world's fi--you want me to what? Speak before Congress. No, I can do that. When would this be? I see. You do know I don't own a suit. Yeah, I guess I'll have to buy one, then--Da, I gotta go, patient just came in." One of the nurses gave him a disapproving look for hanging up on and lying to his father, but Samuel wasn't too bothered. His father would know he'd been lied to, and would probably be amused by it.
If anyone came in looking for medical attention, the doctor would be the guy scribbling notes for a speech on lycanthropic rights.
((Now with 100% less OCD for summer!))
