Doogie decided that today would be a good day to make sure the exam rooms were as clean as possible, and focused most of his attention during his shift to that.

Any reservations Adah might have had about getting along with the nurses were being soundly put to rest as she discovered that a great deal of amusement and fascination could be had in getting them to help her idly experiment on the reflexes and response time of her right side. Something about thwapping her knee with one of those little hammers and then not having her leg kick out until a few minutes later just wasn't going to get old until well toward the end of her shift.
