"The mating habits of boys in the wild," Parker mutters under her breath. "Next, on Discovery Channel."

Parker is now grinning evilly, despite the pain she's in.

"John-Boy? Adama? How are you doing, guys?" She tries for sympathy, but is too intrigued to really pull it off.

"Fine, we're fine," John says jovially. "We're just getting a tetanus shot and some Claritin for Lee."

Lee gives a fake sneeze.

"Ahhhh." She nods, looking sympathetic. "So. What did you stick yourself on?"

"Rusty nail. Damn things are sticking out everywhere." John changes the subject. "So, how're you?"

"Peachy. And very, very entertained. I feel better for having come to the clinic already." Then she winces. "And, apparently, stabbing pains in my stomach are just a new fun thing."

"Probably the smoking. It's bad for you. Eat the stomach lining and spits it out. Terrible thing."

"Swell?" Parker puts her tongue in her cheek. "Hmmm. Swelling? That's too bad, Adama."

He goes pink in the face. "No, no swelling. I'm fine. Really. Honestly. Fine."

"No swelling at all?" Parker bites her lip, then nods. "Well, that's good. Allergies can make things -- enlarge. Turn red. I wouldn't want that for you, Adama."

She glares, then grins. "Why were you hiding behind Adama a second ago?"

"Because Lee had something on the back of his shirt that I wanted to remove. Dandruff or something," he says, flailing for an excuse.
