Okay, so yes, she’d heard radio (had been certain to listen to it, in fact) and knew already that Tyler-sensei had been to the clinic like she’d ordered him to be. This did not stop her from making her very first order of business when she got in checking up on the paperwork to make sure he really had been in and radio hadn’t been lying.

Smugly pleased that he’d listened to her (and, really, in Ino’s opinion, more people ought to listen to her) she settled down to read her medical textbooks and vaguely contemplate... stuff.

"Fighting is healthy," he said simply, opening the bag and considering which one he should pick.

"No," he frowned, it seems silly to like fighting. "It's just better than keeping everything bottled up." He paused, thinking of Renji, Katchoo and Ganju. "Unless they're idiots and then it's just fun to annoy the crap out of them."

He grinned and dropped the bag on the desk after he picked out a muffin. "It is fun to annoy you," he teased.

She made a face at him, rolling her eyes. "So you think I'm an idiot?"

"Sometimes," he nudged her foot and he was kidding.

"Oh," she said archly, with a half grin. "Only sometimes? Should I be flattered?"

He considered it before he grinned at her. "I think it is."

He laughed and leaned forward again to kiss her quickly.

"Whatever."

"Whatever?" she teased, pulling back after the kiss was done.

"Whatever, you're a brat too," he shrugged and took another bite from the muffin.

"I'm a girl," she said, shrugging. "I'm allowed to be a brat."

"You're just spoiled," he told her, trying to push her chair back with his foot.

"Hey!" she protested, as her chair moved. "No kicking."

"No, but you still are," he smirked and kicked again. "Make me."

"I kick back," she said, matching her words to action and kicking at him. "And I'm not!"

"Ow! You are! I just kicked the chair," he protested, which he promptly didn't do as he kicked her.
