FTEC, Sunday Day and Evening Shifts, June 22

When Doogie heard Hades' announcement, he'd thought about leaving, just for a minute. Then he thought about what the people on the island liked to do when they were threatened, and realized that he might be needed here. He was disappointed to find that the clinic already had one patient, but was relieved too, to see that there weren't more.

Oh, look. Adam had made it to the clinic, unscathed. That's a new record. Not knowing what room Lucas was in, Adam made he way to the front desk, intent to find out.

"Excuse me, I heard that Lucas Scott was brought in the other night? I was hoping to see him." Worried big sibling for the win!

"You can go see him," Doogie said, motioning to the first exam room. "But you should know that he's not responsive right now. He's getting better though."

"Thanks," Adam managed a small smile, not liking the unresponsive part. But the fact that Lucas was getting better made Adam's worry lessen, just a bit.

Deadpool had three people with him. Deadpool had walked with them from the damn pit into Tartarus.

Deadpool was not happy.

Dawn (and Andrew) were finally out of the Underworld. Or Hell. Whichever, they were there. She placed him into a chair, then went to the desk, out of breath.

"Hello?"

Doogie came out from one of the exam rooms and gave the girl a weak smile. "Hi there. Can I help you?"

Lana had refused to go home without at least checking on Lucas. That's where she'd been heading originally when that... thing had attacked her. She shuddered and wrapped her arms more tightly around herself.

"Hello?" she said, not really aware of the sight she made with her scratched up arms and face, the bruises and dirt and general dishevelment. "Lucas Scott? Is he still here? Is he okay? Can I see him? I just need to see that he's going to be okay and then I swear I'll go away and leave you alone. I know it's crazy here."

Doogie barely looked up from where he was almost literally juggling charts. "He's in exam one," he said. "You can go see him, but he's not responsive right now." When he finally glanced up, he couldn't help but look the girl over. "Are you all right? Maybe you should sit down."

Lucas wasn't doing very much other than lying in the clinic bed. Being in a coma and all.

His dreams were deep and full of some gorgeous women with a long braid down her back. They were certainly the kind of dreams one would want to remember.

Brooke was back again, a little disappointed that he wasn't awake yet. But she was sure everyone was going to fix what was happening and Lucas would be just fine.

She even brought him coffee just in case he woke up while she was here.

Adam stopped in to check on Lucas, early in the afternoon. He was glad to hear he was getting better, but Adam would feel much better if Lucas actually woke up.

It would be nice if it happened while he was looking in on him, too.

Lana came into the room quietly and collapsed into a chair by Lucas' bed. "Hey," she said softly, reaching out to touch his hand. "I'm so sorry. God, I'm sorry. I just... please be okay. Please don't die. You've got to wake up and... you just have to. Please."

She sat all huddled up in the chair for a long while, just watching him breathe and willing him to be all right. Then she finally made herself get up to take herself home.

Lois was now laying in bed, still unconscious after her encounter with Hades. Her broken wrist had been placed in a cast but that seemed to be the least of her injuries.

"Rule two is not getting knocked unconscious," He said seriously. "It's also very important."

Exam Three -- 06/22

Yes, Adah was glad to be free of the fireants for the second time in her life. However, she had to admit to being a little annoyed with the situation that got her out of it. Loathed to being helped, she wondered if she'd rather they just finally did their job, and it only added to the effect that her muscles were too tense for her to do anything else but stay in a bed in a clinic that she should be working in, not being admitted into.

It didn't help that her haywire brain decided that it wasn't chaotic enough at the moment and thought so kindly to remind her that the last time she was in one of these beds like this, she was in a come for several weeks.

Muscle relaxers. She needed muscle relaxers so that her body could stop the continuous loop of signals to her brain that it was ill-equipped to know how to stop on its own, and she could only hope that her colleague was learned enough to be able to discern as much, since she certainly couldn't tell him.

Staying just outside the exam room, Deadpool peered in on him.

No thoughts about it not being cool to put Captain America in the hospital. Sure, he might have fought against him more than a few times, but... Captain America! It was still weird to not have one back home.

Bucky didn't count.

He was too shiny.

Tony was very lucky that Jarvis kept him up to date on the radio. Especially when it came to blatant shield thieves.

He even had a damn good speech planned for when he saw the man, but...

Tony just pursed his lips and sat down in the chair next to the bed. He could just wait to give it.
