FTEC: Monday Evening

Katara was a little surprised - and happy - there weren't more people in the clinic.  Somehow she'd expected more after watching some of the people fight Hades, but then most of them were dumb and didn't get anyone to check them out.  She may have been making a mental note of who to scold later.

Although she fully understood that anyone could make a decent case for her staying longer, Adah slowly limped out of her room and into the lobby with the hopes that her own medical expertise will help get her home, especially as she dropped a small form on the desk.

"Filled this out," she explained, "for the gauze and the epidermal hydrocortizone I'm taking for the scars and burns."

It should be noted that there wasn't a scar or burn in sight across the same blemish-free, alabaster skin that Adah had always had. Despite this, several areas were clearly carefully bandaged up as if there were.

Adah eyed Katara back for just as long. "No. But I have all evening and the coast is clear. I'll be fine. I could use a nice little stroll, anyway."

Lois came out of her room and headed towards the front desk. She was smiling sweetly at Katara, in hopes that if she was nice she would get to leave.

"Hi," Lois said. "Can I go?"

Lois shook her head. "No and no. I'm really, really bored actually. I could probably run a marathon. And win too, if I used my cast as a weapon."

It had taken a few days, but Lucas was getting better. Like the return of the spirits to the Underworld, his own strength was returning to him.

Now, if only he would wake up.

Teyla had heard about Lucas being in the clinic still, and although she still did not know him all that well, she hoped that her presence could be beneficial. He did not look as ill as she'd expected, and she was taking that as a good sign.

After trying to have a little dinner, Lana stopped back to check on Lucas again. She was thrilled to hear his voice as she drew near his room, but when she saw Teyla was there she just slipped out quietly, not wanting to interrupt. It was enough to know he was alive and awake again.

Lois was so totally ready to walk it off. This was her getting out of bed, going to the front desk and telling Katara she was leaving.

Once Adah had very carefully but very successfully made it around the room in a slow limp three full times, she decided it was time to make an appeal (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/494929.html?thread=10267217#t10267217) for her to get back to the dorms.

Re: Exam Five: Andrew Wells

Andrew really didn't like the clinic. If he could walk on his own, he would totally try to fake feeling better to get out of here.

As it was, he was contemplating asking for something to help him sleep. His mind just wouldn't slow down even though his body was completely exhausted.

Harriet appeared at his bedside. It had been a busy day, what with getting briefed on everything she'd missed. Andrew had been a very specific topic, and she and Zoe had handwavily decided on a course of action.

"Good evening, Mr Wells," she said neutrally, looking down at him. "And how are you feeling after your little adventure?"
