Scully had awoken cranky, but determined. Time to get to the bottom of her transformation!

She stomped off into town, and shot at two teal deer who tried to stop her from going inside the clinic. She took a sample of their blood as they limped away. (And drank some of it, but not from the sample. You had to keep your materials separate to avoid contamination.)

The nurses were staying waaaay on the other side of the Clinic from her, as she worked on her tests.

"Thith ith ridiculuth," she muttered through her just-starting-to-emerge fangs, as she broke yet another beaker. Really, those things didn't grow on trees!

Then she was absorbed in Science again.

Scully scowled, then took a breath, really trying to analyze herself not as a specimen, but as a doctor, and had to make an unhappy sound. "If not from me attacking them for whatever demented reason-- I'm not cognizant enough to stop myself from infecting other people accidentally," she finally admitted. "I'm too easily distracted by my research. I could expose someone to the pathogen while trying to treat them, and... I don't have the self-control to even realize I'm aggressive right now."

"Then what do you think we should do about that?" Karla asked. She didn't want to just restrain Scully out of hand. That might set her off again.
