Oh hey, look, it was a desk! And a chair, which Ino flopped down in, and then leaned back and rolled her eyes at herself.

Hon-est-ly. What was she getting moody about? The fact that her ethics were different, and that people were going to keep treating that like it was bad? “Ugh,” Ino informed the ceiling. “No way.” Because, ew, she wasn’t going to change.

So, she was there, and determinedly cheerful about it.

"No way what?" Ichigo asked as he came into the clinic, juggling a bag of pastries and hot chocolates and trying not to get stuck between the doors.

She flushed, sitting up straight, and trying to look like she hadn't been talking to herself.

Smooth, Ino.

"No way for a bad mood to continue?" she tried. "Need a hand?"

"I'm good," he said, giving the door a kick and quickly moving fully into the room. "Why are you in a mood?"

"Because people suck," she said, sighing a bit. "And I suck for thinking that what they say might matter."

"Who said what?" he placed the tray and bag down on the counter. "Liir?"

"No," she said, wrinkling her nose. "I haven't talked to him lately. Why would you think he'd say something?"

"Cause he gets you moody?" he held out her cup of chocolate.

That got a bit of a grin, as she took the drink. "True," she admitted, "come over and sit down."

So she could sit in his lap. Shush.

"So who else gets you moody?" he asked, moving around the desk to plop down in the chair. He was either resigned to his fate to be sat upon, or he was naive and unsuspecting.

He made a very nice lap-seat, really. As Ino proved by, the moment he sat down, moving to settle herself there.

"A lot of people this week," she said, frowning. "It's been a bad-subject week, all around, I guess?"

If she was going to sit there, he had a right to tug her hair. "You'll just get cranky with me if I suggest it might be you if you're getting moody a lot, right?"

"Very cranky," she assured him, even though she sounded amused. "You will notice that I've at least figured out that taking it out on people might be a bad thing?"

"I'm proud of you," he said, keeping a straight face, but his eyes were flickering with amusement.

She elbowed him.

"You're laughing at me."

"Ow. Am not," he argued, leaning in to kiss her cheek. He probably was. "So why are you cranky?"

"So are," she insisted, but let him kiss her. "'Cause we talked 'bout when it was okay to kill people in Ethics, and Romeo said I don't know anything about love. It's been a moody week, I guess?"

Ichigo blinked and drew back a little to consider her. "Why would he say that?"

She flushed. "'Cause, Romeo like, believes in True Love, you know--the forever sort of thing?" So did she, but Ino wasn't going to just admit that. "And I said he didn't if a fight and him getting a few drinks is enough for him to go and marry another girl. Because that's not true love if you can do something like that, even with a few drinks in you. And he came in expecting me to be all over it and okay with it, now that he's working it out."

"He got drunk and got married?" Ichigo clearly needed to get out more.

Poor Ichigo, so out of the loop.

"To Angela," she said dryly, looking up at him. "He had a fight with Dojima-san, walked out went and got drunk and Angela was there and drunk too, and thus they decided it'd be an awesome idea to get married in the spur of the moment."

"To Angela?" When was the last time he talked to her? Oh right, when he was wee and before that... Yep, kind of been avoiding to discuss that whole shinigami confession. He was good at avoiding.

"Did they get divorced?"

Because this is where the nurses are!

Because ending the world would be bad!
