FTEC - Saturday Evening [12/2]
After a close call on his way from the apartment down to the clinic, Wilson came dashing into the clinic sans his usual latte.
Somehow stopping at the Perk seemed like an unwise idea.
Moving quickly through the door, Wilson tossed his satchal behind the desk and moved swiftly through the back halls of the clinic to see if anyone had been dropped off already and baring that, if they were stocked up.
"Large, mean beings...I almost would have rather had the zombies, at least they moved slowly." He muttered.

"What exactly happened? With the porch?" He asked briskly, penlight out to check on pupils, first thing.

Wilson rubbed his hand over his face and continued with his exam. When he came to the leg braces, he frowned. They seemed to be standard equipment but .. equipment for what exactly? An underlying spinal problem?
"Damn it..."
Wilson stepped out of the exam room and looked around to see if he could find the other person who had brought Logan in. Spying the woman, he motioned towards her.
"Could you come here a moment?"

"I need a bit more information, if you can. In my exam, I noticed he's wearing leg braces. Do you know why?"

"Okay, good to know. The man who brought him in with you, he said that...err...okay never mind what he said. How did the porch fall on him exactly? Was he upright? Prone?"
As he spoke, Wilson lead her back into the exam room. He was already reaching for the portable CT scanner, wanting to check for and hopefully rule out actual internal bleeding.

A careful scan revealed no bleeding but from a physical scan, Wilson could definitely diagnose some internal organ brusing and then there was the matter of the head wound.
The nurse had taken steps to stem the bleeding when Logan came in, slowing the bleeding so Wilson could inspect the cut for the need for stitches.
"Do you know if he's on any regular medication for his legs?" Wilson asked as he worked, cursing under his breath that they didn't have a better medical profile of the man.

Medical wisdom dictated that Logan should not receive those painkillers for at least twenty-four hours... definitely not until he was conscious but at the same time, Wilson was used to dealing with someone who needed pain management for a chronic pain issue.
Not to mention the pain Logan was going to be in when he woke up to the bruising.
Checking the man's pupils once more, Wilson tried to rouse him but when he had no success to the gentle attempt he made a decision.
Helping the nurse treat the rest of Logan's wounds, making him comfortable in the bed and getting him settled, Wilson picked up his chart and wrote out very particular instructions for Logan's follow-up care.
