After a close call on his way from the apartment down to the clinic, Wilson came dashing into the clinic sans his usual latte.

Somehow stopping at the Perk seemed like an unwise idea.

Moving quickly through the door, Wilson tossed his satchal behind the desk and moved swiftly through the back halls of the clinic to see if anyone had been dropped off already and baring that, if they were stocked up.

"Large, mean beings...I almost would have rather had the zombies, at least they moved slowly." He muttered.

For the treating of ambulatory folks who can be released after medical care.

Cause a busy post just looks naked without one.

Christian was still conveniently at the clinic. "What's the rush?" he asked.

Sort of spinning around on his toes, Wilson looked surprised, then relieved to see Troy there.

"Hey, I'm not sure what they are but they're large, pretty nasty looking, impervious to a demon's fireball, with large clubs and a fairly solid ability to take a preternatural punch as well as looking fairly ill tempered. Ogre maybe...or troll?"

"We're being attacked by fairy tales?" Christian said skeptically. He should've known better, what with jello dragons and all.

Leaning against the window, Wilson peered out into the street.

"Well, nasty thing about Fandom, even the fairy tales tend to have teeth." He said in a low worried tone.

"Did we happen to get a new shipment of supplies in this week?"

"Yeah, we're pretty well stocked up," Christian said. "In fact, I think we got a triple shipment of crutches. I was going to send some of them back."

"That was fortuitous." Wilson said wryly, finally moving away from the window and walking back towards the front desk.

"I wish we had some more information on what was going on." He griped, sliding his hand through his hair and eyeing the door as if considering darting back out to take a closer look around.

"Hopefully someone will send us word on what to expect," Christian said. "My guess is a lot of blunt trauma and broken bones."

Wilson laughed though it was a dry, humorless sound.

"Trust me, pump what information you can out of the patients who look like they can talk. Communication lines are usually the first casualties in any island wide chaos."

"You aren't thinking of going out there, are you?" Christian said, noting how Wilson had been eyeing the door.

Catching his lower lip between his teeth, Wilson was in fact eyeing the door.

"Usually, these things are drawn up towards the school...I could probably, nip on up there..."

"Don't be stupid," Christian said. "They know the doctors are here, and they'll come here if they're hurt. If they need us at the school, they'll call."

"What if they have injuries that shouldn't be moved unless stabalized?" Wilson said worriedly.

The last time he'd dealt with a large scale attack like this, the clinic up at the school had been the primary clinic, not far for the students to have to travel with injuries. Down here, it was a slightly different story.

"We don't even know those things are at the school," Christian said. "We do know they're here in town, though, and people are going to need us here."

Christian was right.

Chances were people would default to where they knew they could get help but Wilson still shifted uneasily.

It was hard, the waiting and he wasn't sure he could spend too much time cooling his heels.

Bart was walking through town and muttering about his bad toys when he saw him, just outside of the doors to the clinic. A trooper.

Stomping up to the trooper, Bart ripped his blaster away and bonked him over the head with it. "Bad toy! Stop running from Bart! Bad!"

Wilson, who was still lurking at the windows, saw the trooper...saw the ... uh... okay fine, he was going to go with troll here and before he even thought about what he was doing the oncologist pulled open the door and stepped outside.

"Hey!" He yelled, to try to distract the troll from the blaster bonking.

"Hay?" Bart looked around, swinging his stick as he looked for hay. "No hay, toy!"

He pointed to the now unconscious trooper.
