Marie was awake and very, very restless. She'd finished all of the books Willow sent her and was staring at the wall, wondering when they were going to let her leave.

Christian walked into Marie's room, pulling on a pair of gloves. "How are you feeling today?" he asked.

"I'll be the judge of that," Christian said, sitting down on the edge of the bed to carefully take her pulse and check her heartbeat.

Marie pouted. "I'm bored here and I would sleep much better in my own bed."

"Any dizziness or blurred vision?" Christian asked. "How's your head feeling?"

"No dizziness, no blurred vision, my head feels fine and the rest of me is barely even sore. I'm still a little tired, but Dr. Wilson told me I'd need to take it easy and I can totally do that in my own room better. Besides, it's not like my roomate or my boyfriend is going to let me over do it."

Yes, she was totally giving him puppy dog eyes.

Christian made a few notes on her chart. "All right, you can go back to your room, but take it easy for a few days, and come right back here if you start feeling dizzy or nauseous, all right?"

Zuko had slept most of yesterday. Apparently it hadn't been enough as he was still napping a lot. He did take small breaks to read in the book Peter got him.

After her Humor class Pippi walked down into town, ran a few errands and then walked to the clinic to pop her head into Zuko's room and gently knock on the door frame.

Zuko looked up from his book and maybe this was one visit he wasn't entirely suprised about. "Hello, Pippi."

"I didn't realise there was a tradition," Zuko said, closing his book and putting it aside. "Thank you." Apparently getting hit by lightning meant that he was politer than usual.

"Well, there is among my friends and I." she said entering the room, the smell of dim-sum wafting along with her. "Being in the clinic means not having to eat clinic food."

"I have had better," Zuko agreed, his stomach grumbled as he caught the scent. "I don't think they order from the god Jeff."

"No, I think not." Pippi smiled as she unpacked a variety of dumplings and stuffed rolls. "I would have come to visit you sooner but you didn't ping in yesterday ;) I only just got around to catching up with the radio broadcasts and heard you were in here... I'm afraid I've not been a very good big sister lately."

Peter glanced into Exam Two to see if Zuko was sleeping before tapping on the door frame.

Zuko had been dozing a bit after all the food from Pippi, but the noise roused him easily. As he saw it was Peter, he was immediately fully awake as he tried to see if Peter had brought his sword. "Hi."

"No, I don't," Peter replied to the unasked question. He put a knapsack filled with clothing on the bed. "There wasn't really any way to get them out without answering a whole bunch of questions about why I'm taking your swords."

Zuko sighed, but he could understand it. "I'll retrieve them once they release me from this place." His attention shifted to teh knapsack. "My clothes?"

"I'm not especially fond of having my sword in the weapons locker either, but how are you getting around that?" Peter asked. "And yes, exactly. Hopefully yours and not your roommate's."

"I'm not," he said absently as he picked up the sack and opened it. The colour scheme of his clothes seemed about right. "Yes, they're mine. Thank you."
