Clinic [2/8]

Susan opened the clinic, and got out her files for the patients she was expecting-- and again, hoped that new doctors would be reporting in soon.

Peter showed up at 4:00, carrying his dream journal (http://peter--parker.livejournal.com/tag/dream+journal) that was updated for half the week, but you can pretend the other days have something if you'd like. "Hi, Dr. Pevensie. So I'm just about ready to get 'not crazy' stamped on my forehead, right?"

"Back in New York, pretty frequently. It was how I commuted after I got my powers. It's actually a pretty quick method of travel, so I always had time to kill and I had plenty of time to wander," Peter explained. "Granted, I generally ended up being late anyway because there was a robbery or mugging or crazy supervillain or something. But it was really fun."

"It's pretty much impossible to do here, though," he said, frowning.

"Well, it is kind of impossible. I don't have my webshooters here," Peter explained. "I left them at home because I figured, hey, not using powers here, might as well leave them there? I regret that now."

"Um, the dream about my uncle? Scared. Concerned. Responsible. A little bit guilty. I have it about once a week. It's probably just a reminder or something."

Pip came in a little late, water still dripping from his hair.

"Sorry, doctor. I was in the shower and saw what time it was at practically the last second."

"It's... been an interesting week. A very interesting week," Pip responded.

"Well..." Pip said. He detailed the last week. Specifically His reaction to the vampire hunting incident (http://notstakedyet.livejournal.com/44361.html?thread=1816649#t1816649), being chewed out by his dead father while meditating with Blair (http://cyclopeanmerc.livejournal.com/4754.html), his attempt at a peace offering (http://notstakedyet.livejournal.com/44788.html?thread=1974004#t1974004), his attempts to apologize to others (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/607691.html), and, finally, his conversation with Angel only hours before. A Package for Dr. Lambert

Natalie arrived at the clinic after dinner, hoping that her idea of later didn't conflict with Dr. Pevensie's.

"You assume correctly." She offered her hand with a smile. "Dr. Natalie Lambert."

"Well, I don't know about replacing Dr. House... But a new doctor, yes." Natalie looked around. "Busy day?"

Natalie's stomach roiled at the thought of the lollipop. She put up her hand. "No thank you," she replied. She then leaned her weight against the counter, using her elbow. "I, ah, was actually an ME. I had a regular patient or two, though, kept up with my studies so that I can treat patients with a pulse." Or without, as the case may be...
