Clinic Hours - Thursday January 12, 2006

Wilson whistled softly as he walked about getting the Clinic opened up for the day. He was anticipating a delivery of supplies and so was dressed a little more casually than usual in jeans, a t-shirt and a flannel shirt under his pristine lab coat.

He'd been in Fandom for going on four months and had finally settled into the routine of lugging his own supplies and other wise handling details of a medical facility that he'd had orderlies and nurses to cover over the past couple decades. It was rather nice to be back into the habit and to know he still remembered the 'basic's' so to speak.

There was coffee brewing in the waiting room, though Wilson himself was enjoying a cup of tea as he sat behind the front desk, reading an oncology journal and waiting for the back door to buzz.

Doctor is In, come have coffee, bleed, emo all of the above!

Pip nods. "Okay, I understand. Might as well drain the blood from me, at least?"

"Might as well." Wilson agreed, grabbing a blank file and handing it out to Pip with a pen. "If you would follow me. I'll need you to fill out the pertinent information like name, age, species."

What was frightening was the fact that he wasn't kidding about that last one.

He scratches his eye-patch. He'd have to ask Dr. Wilson about that form, the empty socket had really been itching lately.

Waving Pip up onto an exam table, Wilson headed over to the counter where they had put together the kits for all the blood draws in advance. Sliding gloves onto his hands, he carried the kit back to the table, setting it safely to the side before reaching for the chart.

"Other than the blood draw and the eye, is everything else all right?"

Pip hopped up onto the exam table. "Yep. Eye's been gone for, ohhh, four, maybe five years now."

Nodding, Wilson reached for Pip's arm and began to lace him up for the draw. The oncologist was rather quick with a needle, in...out and done with very little fuss and hopefully even less discomfort.

"If you have previous medical records, we could put them on file here at the clinic." He suggested gently. They had so little background information on well... all of the kids. It made the job just that much more difficult.

"I think I've got some medical records back home I could send for," Pip responds. "My grandfather's... group had to keep an on-staff doctor. He's probably got everything."
