Clinic Hours - Thursday January 12, 2006

Wilson whistled softly as he walked about getting the Clinic opened up for the day. He was anticipating a delivery of supplies and so was dressed a little more casually than usual in jeans, a t-shirt and a flannel shirt under his pristine lab coat.

He'd been in Fandom for going on four months and had finally settled into the routine of lugging his own supplies and other wise handling details of a medical facility that he'd had orderlies and nurses to cover over the past couple decades. It was rather nice to be back into the habit and to know he still remembered the 'basic's' so to speak.

There was coffee brewing in the waiting room, though Wilson himself was enjoying a cup of tea as he sat behind the front desk, reading an oncology journal and waiting for the back door to buzz.

Doctor is In, come have coffee, bleed, emo all of the above!

Since he didn't have any classes until later, Victor figured he'd stop by the Clinic to try and figure out what had happened at the bonfire.

"Um, hello?" he called over the music.

Pip drops by after stubbing out a cigarette.

"Hi, I hear you guys need to drain some of our blood? Also, I think I need to have occasional regular eye exams. You know, to make sure that I'm not having trouble with this thing," he says, tapping the left side of his head by his eye-patch.

Pip nods. "Okay, I understand. Might as well drain the blood from me, at least?"

Following Dr. Wilson, Pip fills out the form.

Pip Bernadette
16
Human male

He scratches his eye-patch. He'd have to ask Dr. Wilson about that form, the empty socket had really been itching lately.

Pip hopped up onto the exam table. "Yep. Eye's been gone for, ohhh, four, maybe five years now."

"I think I've got some medical records back home I could send for," Pip responds. "My grandfather's... group had to keep an on-staff doctor. He's probably got everything."

Stark, having decided that classes would be fine again this semester, dropped by the clinic before the lunch hour. Just to see what was going on and if his occasional assistance could still be occasionally helpful.

"Good morning, Doctor."

"I haven't been here in a while, " Stark said. "Now that everyone is back and classes are starting, I thought I should see if I could still be of help here."

"I have time. Not on Mondays, but other days I have time. And it's better to be busy," Stark smiled back at Wilson. "You're working somewhere else?"

On her break between classes, Nadia swings by the clinic to get a wrap for her ankle and maybe some pain killers.

She's just glad she doesn't have to steal that stuff this time. And that the self-defense club didn't leave her with any visible bruises.

And, ooooo, coffee!

Nadia smiled back. "Hi. Um, I just need a wrap for my ankle. And maybe some ibuprofen."

Nadia shrugged. "Self-defense club last night. Kinda twisted my ankle during the fight. It's not bad or anything, but it kinda hurts, so I figured I'd just wrap it up."

Nadia limped after Wilson. "Yeah. I figured it'd be a good group to join around here."

Nadia climbed up on the bed bed and held out her injured ankle. She noted Wilson's search for words, but figured he was just trying to promote anti-violence. "Nope. I'm usually pretty healthy."

Nadia took the card and glanced it over. She blinked at the last question. Of course, at this school? That was probably a fair question. She quickly filled it out.

Name: Nadia Santos
Age: 15
Known allergies:

Nadia thought about that one. How the heck was she supposed to explain the Rambaldi thing? After a moment she wrote:

Known allergies: Rambaldi elixer (I don't know what's in it. it's green)
Species: human

She set the card aside to watch as Wilson examined her ankle.

Nadia blinked. "I didn't know I was supposed to. I just figured, you know, ankle hurts, you wrap it up, eventually it doesn't hurt any more."

[ooc: BREAKTHROUGH!!! Hahaha! Me:1, Internets:0]

"Well, a couple of nights ago I was at this party, and I guess I got drunk. The thing is, though, all I had was root beer. here, I brought you a can to show you." He opened up his backpack and pulled a can of Willy Wonka's Fizzing Root Beer.

"Pippi Longstoking bought them and brought them to the party, and I grabbed them and opened them myself."

"I don't think so. I mean, I've had root beer all the time before, so i don't know what'd make Wonka's so special."

Victor laughed at that. "I'll have to be more careful around here, then," he replied. "So, you're saying that there might be something in the soda that gets me drunk?"

"Yeah, I came in when they had that announcement and gave Doctor House one. Why, is anything wrong?"

"No soda? All weekend?" he whined. "Man...well, I guess if I want to stay sober, it's juice for me. Thanks," he added sadly.
