Clinic Hours - Monday November 21st 2005

Wilson was still tired and in all honesty, he expected to be through the holiday weekend. He was physically run into the ground -hey, Fandom might be a relatively small island but you trying running all up and down those hills particularly hauling Angel's muscular ass around- and as for emotionally...

Yeah that was pretty much still touch and go also.

But, the Clinic was open the lights inviting and the smell of a Christmas Blend coffee filled the air. Wilson was working on discharge papers/information for Rory and Logan. He could only imagine that they were more then ready to be sprung though he was uncertain about when exactly that springing was going to happen.

Doctor....well the coffee's made, come by and have a cup if you wish.

Lana comes in quietly. "Hi, Dr. Wilson. I wanted to thank you for taking such good care of Shep the other day. I went to see him yesterday. He was pretty out of it on the meds, but he seemed in good spirits. I'm going to stop by again today. Thanks for letting the hospital know I'd be coming by so I wouldn't have any trouble seeing him."

Wilson looked up from where he was attempting to concentrate on a bit of paperwork and he smiled warmly.

"Hello, Lana." Sitting back his smile grew. "He's doing well then? Excellent to hear. I'm sorry that I had to send him to the mainland and couldn't let you go with but I'm glad the hospital didn't give you any trouble about seeing him."

After Study Hall, Beka dropped by the Clinic to check in with Wilson. She hoped Rory and Logan had been discharged, because... well, she wasn't ready to face them.

But she needed to come here, for a little while. Someplace she could drop the act for a few minutes and just be.

Parker notices Beka on her way in with an overnight bag for Logan, as Rory requested. She doesn't say anything, but her expression is icy.

Logan woke up in time to hear the morning's announcements. "What?! Fuck that shit!" he yelled. He tossed off the blankets, slid out of bed and searched for his shoes.

Rory blinked drowsily when she heard Logan yelling in the next room, and, remembering the night before, buried her head under her pillow and went back to sleep.

After the doctors insisted he couldn't leave the clinic yet, Logan slumped back on the bed and played Donkey Kong on his cell phone.

After finishing his visit with Rory, Anakin rapped gently on Logan's door.

Around 3pm or so, Parker knocked on his door, carrying one of his bags.

"I broke into your house-- you'll have to get all that glass sweeped up when you get out-- and got you some things. Clothes. Your iPod. A couple books. Toothbrush. Underwear." Parker folded her arms, and made a face. "Rory asked me to, otherwise I wouldn't have gone in there when your roommates were gone."

Rory sat up, propped against her pillows, and read Sense and Sensibility while listening to the Cranberries on her iPod.

If she looked sad or scared, it was probably just the harsh lighting.

"Jake and Logan? Um...the thing I told you about yesterday, with Jake shifting and stuff," Rory said smiling. "Logan didn't like it. And he also didn't like being told he was wrong. So he's mad at all three of us. Most especially me."

She made a face. "We had a really big fight last night."

After Parker left Rory's room, the sound of a heavy tail hitting the door jamb in a knocking rhythm could be heard. Lockheed was in the doorway, holding a small bag.

Well, not really. But the docs here said I can go check out tomorrow. Only... they said someone has to sign me out. So apparently getting in is easier than getting out. Do you know who's supposed to come get me?

And do I check back with you guys at the clinic or do I get to go back to the dorms once I'm back on campus? And the very nice doctor made some very vague comments about 'finding a P.T. at home'... do we have one of those?

Thanks for everything Saturday night. I'm sure you had better things to do than watch some idiot bleed all over your floor 'cause he can't stay away from the business end of a sword. :)

Shep,

Were you unable to make arrangements with the school Admin for a ride back to the school? If not, let me know and I'll call and take care of the details with the hospital, a taxi service is usually available and we can utilize that if necessary.

You can go back to the dorms but I would like to see you on Friday and again on Monday, earlier if you notice any bleeding or have any trouble with the hand. Bring along your file and we'll review what the 'nice doctor' said in their notes and also discuss possible Physical Therapy regimes you can follow to help with healing.

If you possible learned to stay away from the business end of a sword, I'll call it even. See you when you get back on campus, Shep.

Polite as ever, because he was just that sort of a geek, Wilson held the door for Beka to preceed him into the office.
