Clinic Hours - Thursday November 17th 2005

Wilson moved quietly through the Clinic getting the waiting room set up for the day, starting a pot of coffee and opening the doors.

He had restocking to do and paperwork and... more paperwork and it would be nice if he could figure out his own mind somewhere in all that but honestly, he just didn't want to think about some things so...yeah.

Restocking.

But first, he swung through to check in on the patients, Jack and Phoebe.

Doctor on Duty, come sneak off with his coffee, Jonathan, you know you wanna.

[ooc: Phoebe!Mun, I'm going off the posting thread last night with House that Phoebe stayed overnight. If this was changed later, please let me know and I'll edit this post accordingly. :)]

"Listen to the doctor, Phoebe," Cole said, squeezing her hand. "He knows what's best for you."

He looked up at Wilson. "Can she rest in our room or does she have to stay here?"

"Who the hell ever rests in a hospital." Wilson said with an understanding grin.

Turning back to Phoebe he crossed his hands in front of his belt and did his best stern expression.

"You can go home, I'll release you. You need bed rest until you go 24 hours without the fever, without medicating for the fever. This means no taking Tylenol till the fever goes down and thinking your fine. 24 hours, no meds, no fever. In the meantime, lots of water, lots of juice, Tylenol for the fever and the aches and strict bed rest, keep visitors to a minimum both for your sake and theirs."

He grinned. "I see you back here for pneumonia...I stick you in a room with Dr. House and he will inflict the most God awful soap operas and games shows on you, understand?"

Phoebe hid a smile.

"Thank you. I promise I'll follow your orders and make sure notes get to the teachers...but I...being here scares me." She looked up at Cole. "And I'm sure he'll monitor my visitors and make sure I rest."

"I'll call Bristow to let him know you need to be out of classes at least for the rest of the week and will write up notes for you to send to your teachers."

Wilson affected a wounded look. "But...we're friendly here, really." He even managed a wounded sniff before the smile crept back through.

"I'll be at the front desk, writing notes. Get yourself pulled together and then Bel can help you home."

Turning he headed for the door.

[ooc: Scary as it sounds, that's canon. House is always watching soap operas, knock off of General Hospital.]

Phoebe nodded. "Thank you, Dr.Wilson. And, I know you're friendly, but the last time I was here, I woke up and there was a possessive scary person glowering at anyone who came near."

Pausing at the door, Wilson blinked a little bemusedly then smiled.

"Well, come on up to the front desk when you're ready and you two can head on back."

Cole raised an eyebrow. ~~And this time there's not?~~

"Okay, we go straight to our room, and you get right into bed," he said. "I'll take your note around to your teachers."
