Fandom Clinic, Tuesday
Will was still puzzling over yesterday's mysterious delivery as he came into the clinic for his shift today. Thankfully, there had been no more weird beer left on his doorstep this morning.
He was explaining what had happened, and the theory that maybe someone had been kidnapped, when one of the nurses pointed out Stark hadn't been in for... a while.
Well, great. Now Will felt like a real asshole, 'cause he'd figured the guy had just gone back into space, not been kidnapped by raccoons.

The Front Desk
Re: The Front Desk
Steve led the pack, looking slightly mutinous. "Well, we figured out what the raccoons were trying to say."
Re: The Front Desk
He was never going to approve of how things worked around here.
Re: The Front Desk
Re: The Front Desk
"I can see we've had a busy afternoon. What happened?" Clearly 'is everyone okay?' was a dumb question, because people didn't just make group excursions to the clinic for funsies.

Re: The Front Desk
He wouldn't push it too hard though. It had been great to work an actual job again, even if there were raccoons involved.
Re: The Front Desk
Re: The Front Desk
Ignore that he had clearly been bitten or scratched or both and needed a bandage or two.
"Not sure if they'll work."
Re: The Front Desk
Re: The Front Desk
It did not sound fun.
Re: The Front Desk
"Come on," he gestured for Stark- and the rest- to follow him to one of the exam rooms. "You can tell me all about what led up to that 'tiny explosion'."
Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"It's not anything serious. I don't think." Just, you know, the after effects of being trapped in a bunker for a few weeks by raccoons who only fed you coffee and strange beers and pastries and then dealing with very angry raccoons and then an explosion. No big deal!
Re: Exam Rooms
When he got to the ankle, his frown deepened. "What happened here?" Although considering everything, he had a sneaking suspicion. He was just kind of hoping he wasn't right.
Re: Exam Rooms
At some point he was probably going to absolutely lose it (again) but for right now the absurdity of the entire situation coupled with relief that it was over was somehow resulting in a weirdly calm Stark. (Did that count as shock? It was probably shock).
"I've had worse. It's fine. Or it will be. I'm fine. I think."
He was not.
Re: Exam Rooms
Now that all the actual injuries were taken care of, it was time for that rabies shot! Yay! Which may or may not actually be effective, given, you know, alien.
Re: Exam Rooms
"I can walk," he pointed out. "Run, even."
"Are injections really necessary?" He added, eyeing Will and the needle. "They might not even work for me."
Re: Exam Rooms
His own kidnapping had left him with some rather strong feelings regarding bodily autonomy after all.
Re: Exam Rooms
"I just... it's meant for humans and I'm not. But if you think it's a good idea..."
He wasn't really opposed, he just wasn't sure it would do any good.
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"I'll come back if I feel ill." Or if he got attacked by any more wildlife.
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
Then he thought better of it. "But...yes. I could." He'd been alone in a raccoon bunker for a while. "I think I'd rather not be alone."
