FTEC – Saturday [December 20]

Ino... hated the world today.

Because she was stuck in the clinic (thanks a lot, Cable-san) and it was so gorgeous out. It was only the fact that she was obligated to be here, and the fact that it was, after all, on orders that she’d even taken this job, that Ino was at the clinic today.

So she was curled up in the chair, absently rereading her notes on the scrolls.

And sulking. A lot.

This was crazy, this was insane. This was... Highly annoying.

It was fairly certain that Ichigo was intending to tell Ino all of this. Except that once he made his way to the door of the clinic, Ichigo was well... Stuck. Why didn't foxes have opposable thumbs? Because being a fox sucked, obviously.

He growled at the door to the clinic and jumped up against it, using his weight to get it to open.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Instantly Ichigo started his tirade at Ino, which came out as nothing but a series of bark and whines.

Damn right she could help him! She could go find someone who could fucking get him back to having hands and feet, dammit!

Course she didn't and Ichigo let out an annoyed whine, he snapped his teeth at her ankles and then... Quickly moved to jump on her chair. At least he tried, but having four feet wasn't easy and he ended up sliding underneath it instead.

Ichigo wasn't sure if foxes could scowl, but he was damn well trying. He slipped from under the chair again and stood up against it, looking expectantly at Ino.

Exactly and who else did she know that took her chair?

He dropped to his four feet, moved back a little and tried that whole jumping thing again. He got on, but not entirely and he had to scramble to get his hind legs on the seat at well.

Ichigo sat his ass down on the chair, his tail curling around his legs and he barked once at Ino. The bark might have sounded something like "I am him, you dumbass".

He barked once. Once was agreeing, right? And decided that letting her pet him could do no harm. Maybe she'd figure things out that way.

He looked relieved and barked again, turning his head to lick her hand. He'd be embarrassed about that in a second.

He let out a growl, indicating that no, he didn't think he made a cute fox. He'd rather make a normal teenage boy, thank you very much.

He sighed and nuzzled underneath her chin, his nose cold and wet. He preferred being cute and human.

Ichigo grumbled, thinking that he didn't need anyone to take care of him. Maybe just to open door. Stupid lack of opposable thumbs. Or to find him food.

Okay, fine. He licked her chin.
