intraspective: (talking in class)

FTEC – Saturday [October 18]

Ino was, it must be said, of the opinion that the evening would be much more interesting than her shift at the clinic. After all, sleepover parties generally were more fun and there was no way she was planning on missing it.

For now though, she was curled up behind the desk and studying intently. And wondering if she could get in some extra practice on sand walking before the party that night.

At some point during the morning Ichigo decided that laying low and avoiding people - well, mostly just one and he'd been rather successful at that, thank you - was rather boring. The thing about Ichigo being bored seemed to be that he somehow ended up bothering Ino. Not that he was consciously aware of this. It just happened.

Like he just happened to actually have a bag of pastries and coffee from the Perk with him. Just like that. It didn't mean anything so if she mocked him for it, he was going to kick her ass. Unless they still weren't talking. He wasn't sure what they had decided on that last time so he stayed quiet and cleared his throat to get her attention.

So they weren't talking. Good he remembered because otherwise she'd been insufferable.

He moved to the desk and placed the bag and cups down. Of course it was a good morning, he'd brought her food. See?

Personally, he would think food was worth more than just a hug. Especially since they were muffins. He wasn't sure why he wanted muffins, but once he was at the bakery, that was what he wanted. So muffins, chocolate and blueberry.

Not quite what he had in mind, but he wasn't picky about kisses. He raised an eyebrow at her. Which flavour?

Ha! Predictable.

He grabbed a blueberry one, just to be contrary and went to plop into a chair. The chair she had been in. Because he could.

It wasn't so much stupidity as naivety that made Ichigo not think this was an option. So by the time he realised what was going on, it was already too late.

And now... Now he had an Ino in his lap and he really wasn't sure how the hell he was supposed to react to that.

She was on his lap. How on earth was that innocent.

He couldn't eat his muffin like this either, because well... she was in the way and how could he eat while...

Girl on his lap!

That was a wordless flail right there.

Why was she leaning? That just meant more touching and hello... She was in his lap. Did she not realise that?

He'd poke her shoulder, that would remember her. Come on. Move!

Not until she got off of him! His lap wasn't meant to be comfortable. It was his lap.

And if she was going to ignore the poking, he'd just have to pull her hair. Well, it was more a gentle tug on one of her locks and it wasn't all that hard. More like a warning if she didn't move.

Nononono! That was just worse, because suddenly he was more aware that he did have a girl in his lap and...

She needed to move. Move now. She ended up with his muffin in her lap as he reached for her h- waist. Yep, definitely waist. Get off!

That just made it worst cause now he was sorta hugging her without meaning to and he could feel her laughing.

Stupid not talking. He growled instead. Quit it!
