It was a rather happy Ronan who made his way into the clinic on Wednesday evening, setting his backpack behind the desk. He frowned to see that they still had Adah in as a patient, making sure to check on her and see how she was doing.

But other than that? Definitely a happy Ronan.

"It's just... I want it to be special." Ronan frowned. "I know that maybe I'm sounding kinda scarily invested in this already, but... he sat with me almost non-stop last week, until he got sick himself. You know, you were there -- although at least you took breaks." Ronan smiled a bit, before continuing. "I just... I want it to special to thank him for that. Show how much it means to me that he'd do that for someone, because I know that it wasn't because it was me. He'd have done it for anyone."

"Most of my breaks were at other people's bedsides. A lot of friends were sick. And if I wasn't there, I was yelling at both Peter and Wyatt to rest," Isabel told him, with a wry smile. "The two of them, stubborn and determined and just gah!"

"But," she said, bumping his shoulder. "I get what and why you want to do it. And think he'll appreciate it."

"Good," Ronan said softly. "I hope he does. He's... He's a good guy."

Isabel nodded. She knew exactly what he was talking about. "Again with the not arguing. I'm hoping it works out for you both."

Ronan sipped his hot chocolate, relishing the sweet-spicy taste. "... You should probably get going," he said, "or you'll miss your show."

"Forget the show, I'll miss the orb to Neptune," she said. Not that she ever believed Wyatt would leave her behind. "I'm not sure when we're coming back. But I'll see you then?"

"Definitely," Ronan said, nodding. "I hope you have a nice vacation."

"It's going to be interesting, let's just leave it at that." Isabel got to her feet but didn't head towards the door. "Hug?"

Ronan got up and moved towards her. "Hug, definitely," he said, taking her into his arms and hugging tightly.

Ronan gave very good hugs, Isabel realized as she squeezed back. "Take care of yourself. And stay out of trouble."

"You, too," Ronan said. "Be safe."

"I think the biggest danger I'll face is a flying dinner roll," she grinned. "And if that happens? I'll hide under the table."

With one last wave, Isabel was out the door and off to her adventures in Neptune.
