After ~~assumingly~~ hearing the good news from the doctor about Ami's condition, Setsuna certainly didn't waste any time getting to her room, but she entered it slowly, contrasting her hurried approach. She opened the door just enough to poke her ponytailed head in.

"Ami-chan?" she asked quietly. If she was sleeping, she didn't want to disturb her any.

Ami turned her head slightly at the sound of the door opening. She was hoping it was Billy, but expecting the doctor. When she saw that it was Setsuna an almost subconscious smile spread across her face. //"Setsuna-chan!"//

//"I...I'm not disturbing you at all, am I, Ami-chan?"// Setsuna asked quietly, still not moving from the crack in the door she'd created. She didn't want to bother her if she needed or wanted to rest.

//"No, come in, please. I am feeling better, and a bit bored actually"// Ami couldn't move much so boredom was definitely an issue. There is only so much one can think about one's coma status after all.

"Oh," Setsuna said quietly, ducking her head with a blush as she shifted into the room. She closed the door quietly behind her, and didn't move forward much, though she did hold out her small offering. //"I've brought you some flowers. I've been trying to keep them fresh and nice for you while you were out, just in case you woke up, and then you'd have something nice to look at."//

Ami glanced at the things on her nightstand, flowers and the note and card from Billy.

//"Thank you, they are very pretty, and it was indeed nice to wake up to the ones here."//

Setsuna smiled lightly, her head bobbing in a nod, and she went to place her flowers with the others before taking a seat beside the bed.

//"H..how are you feeling?"//

//"Honestly? I am not sure. I woke up last night,and i feel alright, but i was in a coma for over 12 days and there must be a reason for it? I don't remember what happened..."//

//"You...don't remember any of it?"// Setsuna asked, worriedly.

//"I remember being on the alien ship... and you fighting with a very big sword. And... running into an alien and then everything going black..."//

Setsuna nodded a little. //"That is pretty much it. You went into a coma very shortly after that...."//

//"I am sorry"// was all Ami could say. She really hated beign a burden, but it seemed that is all she ever was to Setsuna.

Setsuna frowned at her. //"Whatever are you apologizing for?"//

//"That i passed out? That i couldn't help fight? that i am a burden?"//

The frowned deepened significantly. //"You aren't a burden, Ami. I have been trained practically since I was born to do things like this; I...I am honoured to have been able to protect you. I just...wish I could have done better job so you didn't have to pass out, but I just....I'm just glad...that you're okay now....I was....so worried..."//

Setsuna leaned in a little; she wanted to hug Ami, but was worried that it wouldn't be appropriate, or that it might hurt her or something, in this weakened state, fresh from a coma....

//"And i am sorry i worried you.."// Ami smiled a little. She really would have loved a hug but she was tethered to the IV so her range of motion was severely limited.

Setsuna returned the small smile. //"You shouldn't be sorry about that, either,"// she responded, that pull of wanting to embrace her tugging at her again but she did well to restrain it, certain it wouldn't be appropriate. //"As I said, I'm just glad that you are safe, that you are awake again..."//

Ami nodded. //"Thank you. for worrying and for coming to visit even when i was less then stellar company."// Ami smiled. //"Setsuna-chun? Can i ask you a very large favour?"//

//"Of course, Ami-chan,"// Setsuna said, almost immediately filling with a strange sort of eagerness to do whatever she could for her ~~girlcrush~~ friend. //"You may ask anything of me."//

//"May i... may i have a hug?"// Ami felt bad for asking, but she really needed one right about now.

A blush instantly sprung up to Setsuna's cheeks. Perhaps it wasn't as inappropriate as she had originally thought, if Ami-chan actually wanted one. The slight, nervous surprise faded into a nervous smile. //"Of..of course,"// she said and, very carefully, moved in to lightly hug her, not wanting to hurt anything, not wanting to seem too eager, although, the moment she had her arms around Ami, the latter part was hard to contain.

//"Thank you"// Ami whispered.

Setsuna carefully tightened her hug a little, not sure of what to say. Most of what she thought to say seemed inappropriate, so she stuck with simply whispering back, //"You're welcome."//

Ami smiled into Setsuna's ~~totally modded~~hair. //"You are such a good friend Setsuna-chan."//

Setsuna wondered if maybe she should release the hug, if it was too much, but she needed it to hide the blush on her face as Ami said that, so she kept it a little longer. As long as she could... //"It...it's nothing, really, Ami-chan. I...I'm just glad to help."//
