Doogie was in the clinic again, working on some files up at the front desk while he waited for old patients to wake up and new ones to come in.

A blush instantly sprung up to Setsuna's cheeks. Perhaps it wasn't as inappropriate as she had originally thought, if Ami-chan actually wanted one. The slight, nervous surprise faded into a nervous smile. //"Of..of course,"// she said and, very carefully, moved in to lightly hug her, not wanting to hurt anything, not wanting to seem too eager, although, the moment she had her arms around Ami, the latter part was hard to contain.

Setsuna carefully tightened her hug a little, not sure of what to say. Most of what she thought to say seemed inappropriate, so she stuck with simply whispering back, //"You're welcome."//

Setsuna wondered if maybe she should release the hug, if it was too much, but she needed it to hide the blush on her face as Ami said that, so she kept it a little longer. As long as she could... //"It...it's nothing, really, Ami-chan. I...I'm just glad to help."//

Ami's memories flashed back to the loyalty and camaraderie of the warriors on the Moon Kingdom, how they all held on to each other in the end, when the world ended and the Kingdom fell...

Well, that certainly didn't help Setsuna's blush at all. Gulping slightly, Setsuna tightened her hug a little, appriciatively, shifting herself in able to allow for it to be a little less awkward. This called for her nearly curling up beside Ami in the hospital bed, but Setsuna certainly didn't mind, and it helped her hug better, and she hoped Ami wouldn't mind either. //"Thank you,"// she said quietly, hugging as tightly as she could without actually hurting Ami.

Ami wished she could hug back, but she didn't want to rip the IV connection out. She figured if the doctor left it in, she needed it.

It was really nice to have human contact though. She needed that, it was reassuring.

"The place actually flooded," Setsuna said, shifting slightly as though to make herself more comfortable, although, really, perhaps it was more of a nervous shifting, because being close to Ami like this was way too nice. "Only parts of town, but I'm afraid I missed most of that. Needless to say, I do like to avoid water, and, besides, I had to knock Ranma unconscious and keep an eye on him because...well...that's a long story. I won't bore you with that. So that was something, the flood. Can't really think of much else at the moment."

She had skipped over the whole boys-turning-into-girls thing because she saw it being discussed with surprise with Billy later well, with dating Ranma, things like that sort of just went over her head as something strange to mention.

Setsuna...definately wasn't going to admit that part of it actually was kind of fun. She never got to hit Ranma because he always dodged when they sparred. //"Yeah,"// Setsuna replied idly. Okay~
