FTEC - Wednesday Day Shift 3/7

Wilson grumbled as he made his way through the rainy weather down to the clinic. Why couldn't it be snow? Honestly, if this much moisture was going to fall from the sky, it ought to be a proper snow.

Shaking himself off, he talked quietly with the on duty nurse, catching up on the two patients still in residence, as he shrugged out of his overcoat and set his briefcase down behind the front desk. Taking the charts, he checked in on Ami and Liz, making detailed notes for their files before quietly slipping back out of the rooms.

Once back at the front desk, he pulled out his laptop and a couple of journals and settled down to work on yet another paper.

Wilson is at the front desk. He's working on a paper and sipping at his coffee but don't let that stop you from disturbing him, if need be.

Sometime that afternoon, after making Anders twitch and visiting Zoe, Bel shimmered into the clinic (yay avoiding the rain) with Phoebe.

Startled so violently that his chair knocked over and he went tail over teacups onto his ass.

"OW!"

"Um, sorry," Bel said guiltily. "I should've knocked."

John came walking in, soaked from the rain, absently rubbing his leg.

Wilson looked up from where he was typing on the laptop and gave John a rueful smile.

"Hey there, John. What brings you down here today?"

"Visitation. Are the prisoners available? Not off starting riots in the yard or anything?" John's innocent look wasn't convincing. "How's Ami? And Liz?"

Wilson's lips twitched.

"They're both available, though Ami's condition has not changed, she's still in a coma. You can go on back if you like, I'm sure they'd both enjoy the company."

Exam One

At the moment Exam One stood open and ready for any walk in patients.

Bel sat down on the exam table, looking around nervously. He wasn't sure what he might find out today, but he hoped it wasn't bad.

Wilson headed over to the counter and took his time pulling on some gloves and getting the items he'd need to do the check up on Bel.

He was totally stalling, thinking back over his conversation with Blair from yesterday and thinking about how, even now, getting close to Bel caused his stomach to heave and react. Wilson hated that, he didn't want to feel this cold, nervous, clammy sensation in his hands and in his heart but he couldn't seem to control it either.

Taking a couple of deep breaths, he situated the gloves on his hands and turned back towards the occupants of the room.

"All righty, let's start out with the basics. Have you been experiencing any specific symptoms that are causing you concern?"

"Not really," Bel said. "But I have powers again. So I guess I'm a demon again. Except that I don't feel like I used to when I was a demon. But I don't feel entirely human, either."

He was still keeping his distance, not touching Bel yet.

Girl in a coma. Nothing exciting to see here.

Ami was deeply conflicted. On the one hand, she was Sailor Mercury a warrior for truth and justice. On the other hand she was Sailor Mercury a dark soldier who was helping Queen Beryl defeat the Moon Princess and the other warriors.

Where will she stand? Can she overcome the darkness inside? She did not know.

Liz had somehow managed to get a few hours sleep where she wasn't disturbed by nightmares but it wasn't long before they returned. She found that it was just easier to stare at the ceiling and block everything else out.
