Christian opened up the clinic in the morning and was surprised to find patients. What the hell were these kids getting into now? He checked on them and made sure they were resting comfortably, then settled in the lobby with a ~~pr0n~~ magazine.

"I am." Tori nodded, her voice a tiny bit shaky. "I was unconscious? I... I don't know. I can't remember anything, Conner." Yeah, she was freaked. "I just remember watching the show with you and then going back to my room. And suddenly, I'm here."

There was a huge chunk of memories missing and that made Tori nervous. "I feel like I've been gone for a week or so." She admitted, angry tears shining in her eyes.

Conner's fists tightened in his pockets. Lana and Tori, and at least two more people if the other exam rooms were any indication. Something was hurting his friends, and a fellow Ranger, and this was not by any stretch of the imagination cool.

"Lana thought she'd been gone a week, too," he said, his voice low and flat with tension. "And she's lost a lot of weight. You must have been taken somewhere else, where time passes differently. And whoever did it, they didn't have good reasons."

Tori looked up at him, a worried and confused look on her face. "Lana, too? Oh God. Is she going to be okay?" Tori hadn't seemed to lose any weight or anything like that, she was afraid for Lana. She shook her head, ignoring the pain that followed it. "That has to be the answer. I just wish I could remember who did this."

"She doesn't know either." Conner's jaw tightened briefly. "She's going to be okay, I think. She's here, and right now she's resting. But she's terrified, and it doesn't help that Jim's out of town, so at least if she's here there's gonna be someone to keep an eye on her. That might be easier for her than being alone in her room."

Seriously, right about now Conner could kill Jim's dad. Well, not kill him. Rangers don't kill humans. But there would definitely be some ~~Disney-sanctioned~~ harm.

"You, on the other hand, look like you're okay to go back to the dorms. You up for that?"

Tori grimaced and sighed out of frustration. "This whole situation stinks. But I'm glad that Lana's going to be okay." She managed a small smile. "Oh, Jim's out of town? Man, that can't be helping any." Tori nodded. "If I feel up to it ~~the mun will make sure of it~~ tomorrow, I'll visit her."

Tori knew about Jim's dad and that whole story. She felt really bad for Lana and if she was up to it, she'd issue some ~~Disney approved~~ justice.

She smiled and nodded. "I think so, yeah." Sure, she was tired and still a bit sore, but it wasn't anything she hadn't been through before. Especially when considering her ranger career.

"Cool," Conner said, and popped out into the hallway for a moment.

After a quick ~~handwaved~~ conversation with Doctor Troy, he came back in and announced, "You're all set to leave, since I told the doc I was gonna make sure you got back okay."

"Great, thanks Conner." Tori smiled gratefully. She really was glad for his help.

She was happy to find that, when she moved she wasn't as sore as when she had first awoken. The fluids had been working, it seemed.

"Ranger solidarity, duh," Conner teased as the ~~NPC~~ nurse took care of all the last-minute checkout details. "If I left you stranded here, I might lose my chance at getting ranked really high on the Awesomest Red Rangers of All Time list."

Tori laughed at Conner's remarks and made sure she wasn't making it difficult for the ~~NPC~~ nurse to check her out. "Of course." She smirked. "Well, I'd be very disappointed if you didn't at least get ranked number four on the list for helping me out."

Conner snickered. "Yeah, well, don't think I'm doing this just for my own benefit. You all set to go?"

Tori grinned in amusement. "Oh right, my bad." She nodded. "I think so."

"Awesome." Conner, big dork that he was, took a moment to check his reflection in the chrome of the paper towel holder by the exam room sink and fix his hair. "Let's move out then, huh?"

Tori noticed and couldn't help but roll her eyes, amused by his antics. "Sounds like a good plan to me." She was ready to get back to the dorms and to sleep.

"I plan good," Conner said with a smug grin. "All right, team, let's go!"

"That you do." Tori agreed, with a grin. She laughed. "Lead the way, fearless leader."
