FTEC, Saturday Morning

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency," the Doctor said as he opened his eyes in a chair in the clinic. He looked around, realized this room was a mess, and went about doing all the important things one does in keeping a neat and tidy reception area. After that, he checked on poor Miss Summers, and after seeing no horrendous change in condition (and wondering why the clinic seemed ill-equipped. Where were the medical tricorders or dermal regenerators?), he went back to the waiting area.

And started humming opera songs to himself to pass the time.

[ooc: Going up early in case there are Buffy visitors, etcetera, and I accidentally sleep in]

"I'm sure you are," the Doctor said. "Assuming she's awake, a visitor should do her come good. But please do not wake my patient if she is still sleeping."

Dean put on his most innocent expression. "No waking up, got it." He paused. "How is she doing, really?"

"I'd say she's recovering quite well," the Doctor said. "But then again, when she's in the best of medical hands, that is to be expected."

Dean's eyebrows raised at that last comment. "Your hands, I take it?"

"Whose other hands could I possibly be referring to?" the Doctor said, not in a cocky sort of way, but a 'matter-of-fact' sort of way.

"Riiight," Dean said, half under his breath. "I'll just be going in to see Buffy now..."
