FTEC, Tuesday, January 16

Christian wasn't happy to find a patient in his clinic in the morning. It wasn't because it disrupted his plans for the day -- he hated seeing the kids around here get hurt.

He checked over Cally's chart and Janet's notes from the night before. The young woman was stable and she was breathing on her own. Christian made sure she was comfortable and hoped she would wake up that morning so they could find out who did this to her.

After the handwavey call from Walter, Annette waited until after her first period class to come to the clinic to see Cally.

She approached the front desk, a vase of flowers (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/002_primary.jpg) held between her hands.

She smiled softly and answered. "I'm Annette, Cally's roommate. I just wanted to check on her, see if I could possibly visit her and leave her these?" She indicated the flowers with a slight nod of her head.

Annette had no idea what had happened to Cally, so it was obvious by her epression that she was worried.

As soon as Mac picked up Nadia's message, she headed straight down to the clinic to find Cally. While Nadia had said she was okay, the very fact it was her calling and not Cally herself spoke volumes. Add that to the residual worry from the weekend and the lack of details, and she was a panicking, just a little.

She ran up to the front desk. "Where's Cally?" she blurted. "Is she okay? What happened? Can I-- can I see her?" Coherency is really not working that well for her right now.

"She's--" Mac paused, nodding slowly and taking a breath. Slowing down was probably good advice. "What happened to her?" she asked.

Nadia didn't have any Tuesday classes, so she headed out to the clinic to see how Cally was doing.

"Is she awake yet?"

Nadia nodded. "Is anyone in there with her?"

[ooc: I'm thinking Nadia showed up after the other two]

The sterile hospital smell? Yeah, not so much the fun for Teddy.

He took a deep breath and walked into the clinic, stopping nervously at the front desk. "Excuse me?"

"The, um, radio last night said that Cally was here and they didn't say what was wrong or anything, so, um... is she okay?" Teddy winced at how stupid he sounded.

Cally was still out cold, though her vitals were strong and stable. It was probably just a matter of time before her system got over the shock. She looked... possibly worse than when the blood was everywhere.

This was most definitely the bad sort of deja-vu. Two attacks in about as many days? There was something really not right about that.

Mac made her way over hesitantly, sticking for the moment with just standing a couple of feet away, chewing on her bottom lip as she looked at Cally.

She only has one class, so chances are she'll be hanging around here most of the day, in case Cally wakes up.

Nadia assumed the doctor would say it was okay for her to go in came in quietly and a little hesitanty, knocking once on the door frame so that she wouldn't startle Mac.

"Hey,"

Mac turned at the knock, and managed a weak smile at Nadia. "Hey," she said.

Teddy pushed the door open and peeked into the room, finding someone already there. "Hey," He said quietly as he stepped into the exam room.

"Hi, Teddy," Mac greeted keeping her voice fairly low, just in case.

Annette had come and gone before Mac had arrived. She left the vase of flowers on the small table off to the side, the card attached, and moved to stand next to the bed.

Carefully taking Cally's hand, she held to it while she said a quick prayer, hoping that the healing process was quick, the worst of the suffering over. Annette was glad that she was sleeping though, it was the best thing for her.

Letting go of her hand, she smoothed over the top gently, then turned and left the room. Maybe tonight, if she came back to visit, Cally would be awake.
