FTEC, Sunday Morning, October 22

Trevor never liked coming into the clinic to find injured students already there. He carefully checked on each of them before taking up his usual spot behind the front desk.

"Apparently," Zuko agreed. It was clear that he was curious, but as man's business was his own so he kept his questions to himself. For the most part. "Did you get rid of them too?"

Like Zuko knew that if his sister realised that he wasn't dead, she'd be back as well. "Then you'll beat him again."

"Hope so," Bel said, trying to force his tone confident. "Anyway, I just wanted to check up on you and see how you were doing. I better get going so I can hide from my girlfriend's family."

Zuko nodded his thanks and hesitated for a moment. "I do owe you. If it comes to a fight, I'll have your back."

Somehow Zuko wasn't surprised. "Good," he said, settling back down on the bed. Maybe he was slowly starting to realise that you couldn't do everything alone.
