FTEC, Thursday Evening, August 24

Armed with coffee and the television remote, Trevor settled in for what he figured would be another quiet evening in the clinic.

Dean and Tyler staggered into the clinic with Alec held up between them. "Hi," he said. "We need a little help here."

Trevor blinked through a moment of surprise at seeing actual people who needed help, and then set his things down to go over to them. "What happened to him?" he asked, motioning to Alec.

"Seizure," Dean said. "He gets them -- it's some kind of hormone-body chemistry thing, I dunno. He's got pills that keep them under control usually but that don't seem to be working."

Tyler nodded grimly and passed over the bottle of pills. "I'm his roommate and he's basically been sleeping the last two days, straight," he said.

Nodding, Trevor made sure the two boys still appeared to have a handle on the third before pointing back towards the exam rooms. "Here, follow me, and I'll take a look at him," he said, leading them back to exam room two.

Aeryn's improved since earlier. She's stopped shaking, anyway, and even if she's flushed, that's better than she was. She finally decides to open her eyes again, trying to figure out exactly where she is. Her morning's a little hazy.

John's dozing in the chair near her bed when he pops open an eye to check on her and sees her eyes open.

He's out of his seat immediately and bending over. "Aeryn? Honey, can you hear me?"

She nods, knowing she's at least been in here before, though this is a different vantage point from the last time. "Water," she says.

"Okay," he says and darts around the room, filling a cup with water on dumping ice into it. "You drink, I'l hold," he says, bringing the cup to her lips. "Slowly."

She sits up a little and goes to put her hand around the cup, noticing that all right, she is still shaking a little. What she does is use said shaking hand to tip the cup a little so she can drink the rest of the water more quickly.

Laying back again, she says, "Clinic?"

"Yes," he says and re-takes his seat, not touching her. "Are you still hot?"

"A little better," she says, frowning at the IV in her arm and very carefully tearing it out. Until she knows what it is, it doesn't get stuck in her. "What happened?"

"I found you in the boiler room," he says quietly. "I had to call Anakin to get you out. The door was locked and jammed or something. Anakin came and used his sword thingy to bust the door open. We both got you here."

"Thank you," she says, frowning and trying to piece together what had happened, and how far back she can remember, just to guage how bad she got.

Dean and Tyler followed the doctor into the exam room and help Alec onto the exam table. Dean stepped to the side to let the doctor approach but didn't move completely away. "Um, this seizure thing... it's kinda a secret so..."

"I'm not the kind of person to go spreading information about students to others," he said, starting to get some supplies. "Or, do you mean that this is the sort of thing that needs to be kept off of his chart?"

"Could you do that?" Dean asked hopefully. "Because yeah, if you could.."

Trevor nodded, making a mental note instead. "Certainly. As long as that won't impair anyone else's ability to take care of him while he's here." He got a fresh chart and glanced at the three of them. "I'm Dr. Goodchild, by the way. What's his name?"

"Okay." Trevor made a note of that, and looked at the bottle from Alec's roommate, before digging through the drawers in the exam room for a thermometer. "You said he's been sleeping for the past two days? I'm assuming that's not a usual side effect of his medication."

"No. It's more like a side effect of when he goes too long without it, but usually not to this extent. Usually he's just listless, not so out of it." He looked at Tyler. "It's been two days?" he asked for confirmation.

"Think so," Tyler said, thinking back. "He was out of it Tuesday night when I got back from the gym. Hasn't left the room since that I know of."
