The clinic was a mess.

The lobby and hallway were full of crumpled coffee cups and the scent of emo. A few bodies remained huddled against the walls and on benches. Christian quietly checked them and found each person just sleeping, so there hadn't been a coffee Jonestown going on last night.

At least the patient in Exam One seemed much better. Christian examined Angel and found him sleeping peacefully, no fever or chills. So maybe whatever they'd done had worked despite wrecking havoc in the clinic. Careful not to disturb the vampire or the young man passed out in the chair next to him, Christian noted Angel's condition on his chart, then returned to the desk in the lobby, hoping people would wake up soon and clean up this mess.

Logan emerged from Exam One. He blinked at the sight of Bel in a doctor's coat until his bleary brain caught up with him and noticed that this guy was older than Bel. The doppelganger doctor, then. He gave the doc a sleepy nod and stumbled homeward.

Bel hesitantly approached his doppleganger. "Angel's awake," he said. "Is there still some pig's blood for him to drink?"

Christian eyed Bel warily. At least he was getting mistaken for the kid less often now. "Sure, I'll get him some," he said.

Lana had woken up on a bench outside the clinic. After a quick call to Shep to let him know she was okay, she headed inside to see what was going on. She smiled at the sleeping people - obviously she wasn't the only one who hadn't made it home last night. And since everything seemed calm she figured that the spell and blood must have worked. She peeked into the room and saw Logan dozing in the chair next to Angel's bed. Angel looked much better, but she didn't want to disturb either of them.

Instead she found a trash bag and started picking up the cups and stuff lying around.

Christian noticed one of the bodies had stirred and was cleaning things up. "Thanks," he said. "If those were booze bottles I'd say there was one hell of a party here last night."

Mid-morning, Rory stopped by.

"Hi, Dr. Troy," she said cheerfully. "Is Angel taking visitors?"

"He was awake and alert the last time I checked him, so go ahead and go right in," Christian said. "He seems to be fine but let me know immediately if there's any change in his condition while you're with him." He looked Rory over. "How are your limbs, by the way?"

Alanna came into the clinic, meaning to check up on Angel. Seeing Christian, she forced her face into a smile. It came out more of a grimace. "Good morning, may I see Angel?"

"Sure, kid," Christian said, waving her in. "If he gets tired, though, let him sleep."

When Molly finally woke up that afternoon, the first thing she did was head down to the clinic to see if she could visit Angel.

"Hello again," she greeted Dr. Troy. "Can I visit Angel today?".

Logan woke up. He stretched out his back and neck as he remembered the events of the previous night.

Angel was still sleeping peacefully. Logan watched him for a moment, then stood up to leave. Didn't look like Angel needed him now, and the thought of a few hours of sleep in his own bed was pretty appealing.

After hearing the news that Angel had drank the antidote, Bel took Phoebe home when all the emotions in the clinic got to be too much for her. First thing in the morning he returned to the clinic to check on Angel, hovering at the door until he saw some sign the vampire was awake.

Odds are? Angel's up. He might even be in something that looks like a good mood.

He's a bit of a stubborn male, though, so it's possible he's tiring himself out more than he needs to.

Lana stopped in after Logan and Bel had gone - and after she'd picked up some of the mess everyone had made last night at the clinic. She'd run a hand through her hair so she didn't look *entirely* as if she'd spent the night sleeping on a bench.

She figured it made more sense to check up on him now than go home and come right back again, so however she looked would have to do.

Sometime in the late afternoon when no one else was there, Veronica slipped in to the clinic to see how Angel was doing.

"Hey," she greeted with a smile. "How are you feeling today?"

Phoebe knew that Cole wouldn't be happy with her for getting ut of bed and coming to the clinic, but she needed to see for herself that Angel was better. She promised that after she checked on him, she'd go back to the dorms and rest.

She poked her head in.

"Knock, knock," she said softly.

After getting the okay from the doctor on duty, Molly stopped at the entrance to the room to make sure Angel was awake before barging in.

Parker stopped by late in the afternoon, and smirked as she walked in. The smirk might have lacked some of the usual superiority, though. "Hmmm. Good. You look healthy enough for your upcoming execution."

After putting her room into some sort of order, Angela made a quick trip to the clinic to see if she could catch Angel before he left for home.
