Paying no heed to the newly posted rules, Granny set up her cauldron again. This time she was brewing something in particular - a little potion that helped gentlemen when they had trouble rising to the occasion. Perhaps Mr. Gavin was in need of a little personal assistance.

Pippi kicks the door to the clinic open carrying Nadia.

Behind her are a number of injured people from today's adventures in Shop Class (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/676188.html?thread=32462684#t32462684).

"Good afternoon! Granny Weatherwax was it? We have some people here that need help."

Pippi's face is bleeding, and she's been badly burned in three places, her companions are all variations on the theme of blood, burns, and bruses.

Nadia pried her eyes open, again, and blinked around. "'re we there yet?"

She had a nasty burn on her left knee and her left hand, and a delightful head injury.

Walter nodded and smiled to see Nadia at least conscious. "Yeah, we're here."

He's a rare sight in a plain buttondown shirt and no waistcoat. There's a nasty burn mark that stretches across the back of his shirt and when the shirt comes off, the burn underneath looks very painful, with its only advantage being that it's nice and straight. He's having trouble moving his arms and is white with pain.

"Can I use the phone, Mistress Weatherwax?"

Granny doesn't know what a phone is, but now is not the time figure it out. "Certainly, if you know how," she said to Walter.

"Thank you," Walter said and looked around for a phone, giving Victor a call (http://anole-x.livejournal.com/397.html?thread=267149#t267149).

Details. Think about the details, don't think about the pain. Maybe he should call Alfred. He had a feeling he wouldn't be in the best of shape to work tomorrow.

Thinking that that was a good detail, he called Alfred (http://badassbutler.livejournal.com/418.html?thread=63906#t63906) as well. Anything to keep his mind off his back.

Walter nodded. The scene at the moment reminded him a lot of life at home. Nothing quite like life during war, even if lasers weren't usually part of the action during WWII.

Pip limped in after Walter with a nasty burn on his shoulder. His head is bandaged up, but it's come undone, though the wound has coagulated.

He is also noticibly limping on his right leg.

"You probably want to see to her first," Xander says, pointing to Nadia. He's got a scrapey cut on his forehead that's been treated already but has opened up again, an ugly one down the right side of his face that looks like somebody noticed he already had a cut and used it as a target to fling something else at, a laser-burned little finger, and a pretty big bump on the top of his head, though nothing that rival's Nadia's injury.

Nadia considered insisting she was okay again, but the room was kind of spinning and she was starting to feel nauseus, so she wasn't entirely sure that was true. If someone could make her brain stop hurting? She'd be there new best friend forever.

"What happened to you?" Granny asked, leading each injured person to a cot.

"Robots," Nadia muttered darkly. And, oo, yay, cot! "Lots of nasty robots." All bets were off as to whether or not anyone would believe a word she said in this state, though.

Pippi set Nadia down on a cot.

"We were attacked by robots. Um, we have a lot of people who have beeh hit by lasers... Those are these guns that shoot really hot beems of light... And a bunch of people banged their heads... And cuts... Lots of cuts.... When Mr. MacGyver gets here I think he broke a leg... How are you today Granny?"

Pippi has a burn on the front and back of her right shoulder, the burn on the back looks much worse, a burn on her left hip, and a burn on her right ankle. As well as two scrapes on her face.

"Nadia banged her head really hard."

Dispite her injuries, Pippi is practically vibrating with energy. She's clearly running on endorphins.

"Nasty buggers, robots," Granny said, who had concluded from the evidence in front of her that a "robot" was likely some sort of troll.

After making his phone calls, Walter peeled off his shirt and may have said some not-Alfred approved things as it came off. He perched on one of the cots and watched Granny Weatherwax tend to the others.

Victor came in soon after the car, shirt in one hand and box of chocolate Pocky in the other. When he saw Walter, he couldn't help but feel stunned. he forced himslf to relax, however. No way would Walter want someone babying over him. he was strong and could take care of himself, right?

"What happened?" he asked, his concern evident in his eyes.

Immediately after checking his messages, Alfred left Wadsworth in charge of the restaurant and ran to the clinic. Removing his hat as he stepped in, he looked around for Walter.

After seeing that Nadia and the more heavily-injured people are bing seen to, John and Xander hear the new doc come in and sneak off to his end of the clinic to give Granny some space to breathe and deal with the others.

John went to where the battered more-than-friend was schlumped.

"Well, looks like you gave 'em hell, tiger. How ya feelin?"

Kawalsky ambled in a short time later. He'd stopped for jello. Fighting evil holographic robots built up an appetite. He was sweaty and his jacket had visible holes in it. The laser blast to his right shoulder was the only visible wound.

"You meet up with the robots, too?" Granny asked.

Scariest. Doctor. Ever.

"Uh, yeah. Got tossed across the room. Hit a wall. And," he waved his hand at his right shoulder. "Little run in with a laser. Back's a little sore, but my head's fine."

Granny examined his wounds. She was forming a mental picture of the attacks - the large, troll-like 'robots' lumbering along with small 'lasers' hovering over their shoulders and spitting neat lines of fire at their attackers. Granny cleaned and bandaged Kawalsky's wounds. "Ah, lasers," Granny nodded knowingly. "Might try carrying a bit of iron on you. Sometimes it'll keep those buggers away."
