It had been an odd weekend. Today hadn't started off any better with his disastrous paintball performance though it had improved after he found a particularly snuggly puppy during photography.
Still somewhat painty, Stark had brought the usual coffees and set them down.
One nurse gave him a once-over, shook their head, and handed over a package of wet wipes. "Clean yourself up then while we tell you about Stabby's tales from the reunion. You will not believe what he and his lobsters were up to!"
Stark offered a tiny smile in return and started in on some of the paint on his neck.
The clinic was open, the crab had stories, and the alien was in though in a mood.
